shit, you'd think someone would put up turbines. we live in an area that doesnt even get the warnings, we just get lumped in as "central mountains" or "front range" the bigger populations along the front range get specific warnings, because they are full of stupid people. mountain folk have to read between the lines, i love it here. last year hubby got blown off the road driving home, the plows had not been by enough, the snow was packed on the road and blowing around, he went into the ditch where i could see his headlights. someone picked him and the groceries that would freeze up, and drove him the 50-75 yards home, said he would have gotten hypothermic if he had tried to walk it. extreme conditions keeps the stupid people in town.

drinking coffee and catching up on the pile of issues of The Nation magazine that i haven't gotten around to reading yet. pretty good sunday so far.

 

I just woke up.. so I got about 12 hours of sleep.

That's about 2-3 times as much as I get on a school night.
