Miss and I were actually talking about banjo's, she wanted to learn violin and I said well 2 violins can't make a bluegrass band, I'll have to learn the banjo.

I'm the same with coriander lol, if it's in there that's all I taste. My last straw with it, some genius decides to put it in a spring roll. Okay it was my sister. And anyway I was just like yuck! What the fuck is this doing in a spring roll? Pork mince girl!

After that I just put my foot down. No more coriander. It should be illegal.

coriander and its leaf, cilantro, are a-okay with me. we like it in our house. from what ive heard it has to do with genetics, people who dont like it CANT STAND IT. i grow it in my yard, it happily self-seeds. and you only ever need a little, so im glad i dont have to spend a bunch of money on a bunch at the store, when all im going to use is a few leaves.

 

Is that the same as fish too? Because I cannot stand the smell or taste of fish.

i dont know if its the same for fish, i know with cilantro its a particular compound that is triggering that genetic response. i didnt like fish for a long time, now i can eat a little. i still dont like very fishy fish, but i can do salmon ok now, and ive had some tilapia that was good. tuna and cod are okay. catfish is tolerable, but often not cooked well. my mom says you cant judge if you like catfish unless someone cooks it properly for you.
but yeah, i grew up not caring much for fish at all. like, i could do fish sticks, and they are made from cod, and thats like, one of the plainest fish around. i want to learn more ways to do tilapia because they are supposed to be really to raise in an aquaponics system.

 

Cod's bomb. But I grew up in coastal New England, so it's almost mandatory to eat it. Mahi-Mahi is also very good. Haddock, pollack...most white fish. And swordfish.

But I really love shellfish. Scallops with a bowl of steamers with a side or corn on the cob and red potatoes. God, I'm getting home sick...

 

There used to be I think it's gone now but a fair few American younger players used to come over to play in their off season. The main difference was, I think a field goal of 50 yards or more was worth 4 points instead of the usual 3.

I know there was at least 4 German teams, one in Amsterdam and maybe a French team. It was pretty lame.

Also in Europe we have our own officially sanctioned and licensed NASCAR series. They don't run on ovals.
