This woman on eBay is starting to annoy me. I am selling my old iPad as acquired new android tablet and I have as an auction. So she, and I assume she as the name has "Sammi" in it messages me how much I want for it. I tell her the price it's listed at. She come back 30€ less. I say no I have over 10 watching at the price already. Then she says okay fine that price. Then I don't respond because I find her irritating. Now she says out of nowhere a sob story how she needs a good one for her daughters to learn on. Now I'm more irritated because you give that a kid a proper book, not an iPad and you've annoyed me now you have to watch the bidding war.

 

I just started watching this show that my daughter told me about. It's going to be pretty funny. It's called "The Wild and Wonderful White's of West Virginia". lol Damn bunch of hillbillies.

 

Being alone and really knowing yourself is the best gift you can give yourself. If nothing else it lets you figure out what you do not want in your life.

well my daughter gets a lot of assignments and turns in work online and she uses her iPad often to access her school stuff, BUT she still has to actually do the work on a PC.
Tablets are little more than a novelty IMO.

 

lots of schools use optional tablet lessons....entire courses can be handled on tablets.....a learning disabled child or how about just a good ol fashion retard kid?.....maybe they could use a tablet to help with the learning

you asked ''what kid''.....there is lots of kids that benefit from owning a tablet....this isn't 1964.....obviously books are beneficial too ....but a mom shouldn't feel bad about wanting a tablet for a kid.....specially a single mom

I don't think they are a novelty but in the case of a learning child a pc seems much more useful. Now that I'm not in school anymore I actually got rid of my computer and only use a tablet. The size is ideal for me.

both my grand daughters have ipads...all of nieces and nephews have ipads

 

I think that schools now provide access to laptops that students can take home. Might be totally wrong about this, but isn't there something to prevent the use of said computers for social networking? The more I type the more I realize that I probably am making this up.

 

I don't think there is an age cutoff. Obviously anyone can use a tablet. I just don't think that someone should be trying to guilt trip irm into getting what they want cheaper by using that excuse. Ifnit is really for school, why not get something that can use word documents in the format most teachers want to receive an assignment in?

 

Perhaps something that doesn't think Ifnit is a word...

 

I think they need to go back to reading by candle light and charring sticks in the woodstove to write their assignments with...

People who do that are so annoying. When buying some things like maybe a car you negotiate. But for most items you just pay what they ask or shut up and find someone who sells it for less.
