Awesome we have some theories. Unfortunately theories are worthless, considering they aren't fact. The only thing that matters are facts.

Ya ain't gonna get very many facts with regard to experiencing death because people who've actually done it aren't around to relate what they went through... so we're left to theorize and otherwise go about the task of living... because if we spend our existence being afraid of death then in a sense we've spend our entire existence dying.

It's sometimes good to leave the table still a little bit hungry.

I live for facts. Unfortunately I know it is a fact that nothing makes sense anyways.

I've tried to die but I don't think it is possible. Seems death is a life event after all. It only happens when you are alive.

To me it seems that life would be kind of boring with only facts.
Imagination isn't something that's made up of facts.

My dad died for almost 5 minutes when he was a kid, after he was struck by lightening. I never got around to asking him what he experienced during those few minutes though.

Personally, I'm excited to find out what happens, though I am not necessarily in a rush to find out.

I'd love to be able to sit and talk with someone who has been through that.

Anyone who says they aren't scared of death hasn't faced the chance of it, and I mean properly.

I never was, then I got caught up in something pretty awful, and looking at your own death is truly terrifying. I've literally had the 'life flashes before you life' moment and man, ever since then, i've been a totally wreck about it.

Life is really precious, in my opinion.

    Very true...

Glad you made it through whatever the "something awful" was.

I don't think being a total wreck about death is very healthy. Death is inevitable for each of us... and it's one thing that we're assured to be experiencing solo.

    Cheers, mate.

And yeah, I am personally still trying to come to terms with it, I doubt it is something that will keep me down for too long I hope.

But yeah, the inevitability just pushes you forward. you cannot evade it anyways, although some people try there hardest to do so.

I've known quite a few people who have died, and none of them have complained about it yet :p

Yeah some people don't like life so why would they care about death? It seems like the more value you put into life, the more you hate the force that ends it.

Personally, I have gambled with my life way too much, but since I like life so much, it just makes those risky situations even better because you want to be alive THAT much more.

Absolute bollocks. It has nothing to do with value, but maturity. You can value life supremely, and be comfortable with death, knowing it is simply the sunset of life. If you hate death so much and obssess about it as the ender of life, do you also squeal with joy when thinking of birth, and obssess about it as the originator of life? Is birth the originator of life? Before you are born, you are still alive, just in a womb. Keep tracing back, where does it begin? Hard to find a beginning, maybe hard to find an end as well.

Without death there could not be life. You are alive today because billions before you died so you could have their place for a while. And you will die so that billions after you can have their turn. The ride always ends eventually. If it didn't, that would be hell, more hell than you could ever imagine. To live forever would be a curse so dark and cruel that I can't think about it for long. Thank god we die.
