Ideally, what would your job be?

Something that makes me feel like I'm helping people. I'd always thought teacher or therapist would be good options.

I think you'd be quite good at teaching.

Really? Thanks, that means a lot to me.

I've had small glimpses into the world of teaching when I had to fill in for my English teacher at school or just tutoring other people. I think it's fun and it doesn't feel meaningless, although I find American schools to be kinda scary. At least public schools and their hundreds/thousand of students.

Sounds pretty exciting! You're at an age, unencumbered, and able to absorb an adventure without much risk. Not to mention, the experience you would get. Would you miss the job you have now, or the people close to you?

If you have considered the personal risks and it still appeals to you, then perhaps it is an opportunity that you might consider.

Those personal risks though could be rather high.

Well, apparently the job offer stands. Have some thinking to do.

Sounds like it could be a great opportunity, but you can't disregard the reality that some mines are engaged in questionable practices and human rights violations.
Of course not all mining operations are operated in that way, but it is documented that a percentage do.

So I guess the question here is, if upon further investigation or upon arriving there, you discovered that this particular company engages in human rights violations would you still take the job/remain?

Sounds pretty cool, I'd do it.
