Like almost everything else, it was cool at first and became exxagerated. Kinda like metal now, its just getting ridiculous. We get it, you can play fast.

Everybody has their weak areas. Most of us wear different masks at different times as well. Just a part of being human.

JMT youre lame for negging me on that lol. You like to think you know everything about metal and that you are the ultimate authority, but unfortunately you don't, and you're not. So go listen to bullet for my valentine or something.

thats not my fault that you like shitty bands......because thats all you seem to post.

this is cute but nice try I never posted bullet for my valentine on here......

That it was total shit is merely your opinion and you didn't even know what it was. Don't take it out on him if you don't know what sludge metal is.

I have no idea what you are talking about regarding that band from Texas, if you can refresh my memory ill comment.

For what it's worth, almost everything YOU post sounds like it comes from the 80's and 90'S - like 80's trash metal or slayer, or some 90's stuff like in flames. It's not quite MY cup of tea, but to disagree with the fact that I said metal nowadays is kinda saturated with crap an exaggerated is kinda contradicting yourself. I don't see you defending bands like suicide silence or job for a cowboy and stuff like that....

That being said, you don't need to be such a freaking nazi with your opinions. Who are YOU to say what's a shitty band or not?

Haha in all fairness I love the locust, that's not what I was referring to when I said metal was ''exxagerated'' nowadays. What I'm referring to is the trendiness of it all. If one or 2 bands would sound like this new wave of metalcore, it would be ok, but there's just so many bands that all sound alike nowadays that I kinda got bored with it. And it's almost like a joke now. It seems like its about who can play the slowest/more downtuned breakdowns and who can shred the fastest without really putting any real effort into it.

Oh and Glassjaw is cool haha

Uh... I'm aware of that, what I am saying is that you negged me for saying that metal was not as good as it used to be, but you listen to older metal. Anyways, this kinda feels like a waste of time. Do your thing. You've sure convinced me man, you're real tough, and a real metalhead among all us posers. Good for you man!
