Of course they're trying to make a nuclear weapon. Hell, that's so obvious that there's no need to prove it with anything substantial.

 

The difference is that in Muslim countries they make laws based on what they believe their invisible boogie man in the sky says. At least in the west we try to get rid of laws based on what our invisible boogie man has had to say.

I'm still waiting for the answer on why Iran broke IAEA seals, won't follow international law and open up their nuclear facilities that the dozens of other nations with nuclear power have no problem doing, and why apparently Iran is a glutton for punishment and takes sanction round after sanction around despite its economy already being completely stagnant with high inflation vs just doing what they're bound to do under international law and every other nation does.

Let me guess, North Korea wasn't trying to build a bomb either, even after they set off a really crude and weak bomb and publicly announced they were now a nuclear state, it was a zionist plot wasn't it?

 

They and we are both stereotyped here. We have the luck that our narrowminded fellow countrymen are not in a place to make such laws indeed. But we as a whole are nothing better. Just like not every iranian is muslim and not every iranian muslim is in favor of those laws.

Right on . Which leads us back to the original question he couldn't answer . Which caused him to go into all sorts of nonsense about the holocaust .

Again if Iran's reasons were only for building reactors for energy . Why hide it ? Why stay in constant treaty defiance ? Intel groups found their covert operations in late 2001 . Why ? When they could help from the international community for energy reasons .

 

Reminder, many Muslim nations are like they are from either autocratic rulers or lack of social development. The only thing that keeps part of the US from being near an Evangelical theocracy is a strong civil court system of constitutional law. I mean case in point, Lawrence v Texas only happened in 2003, not that long ago. 14 states still had sodomy laws on the book and were willing to spend millions appealing it to the supreme court to keep those laws on the books. Or right now, many states are changing anti bullying laws to allow for a religious exemption, so it's ok to beat the crap out of someone if your religion calls for it. I mean what's our excuse, we're a first world nation.

Let's remember, above all, Iran is breaking international law, in a treaty THEY signed as well as United Nations law. I mean I'll give North Korea credit for at leasing going "fuck you" and just leaving the NPT at least.

 

No war any time for any reason. There are other ways to fight.
all despotic and oppressive regimes must be actively opposed until all diplomatic means are exhausted. Sanctions have been working with Iran. (I would provide a link to top officials saying this but it seems kinda silly at this point..lol (it's practically fucking headlines)

I know of nowhere in the Western world , where being gay can get you publicly hung . I know of nowhere in the western world where being a woman can get you "honor killed" . Yet it can in Iran .It's not the people of Iran's fault , for the most part they are good people .

It's the fault of their government . Which is influenced by hardliner islamic beliefs .

And now these "people" think it's just wonderful there building the bomb . All the while claiming how smart they are and how evil the west is . Where at least they have the freedom to do and say as they wish .

Yes the west has some real problems to deal with . The answer is not in spreading nuclear arms to a dangerous regime . How can anyone even try to defend this ?

 

They probably hide it because of experiences with the west (and north ((russia) ) in the past. That might also be the simple reason why Iran's regime is not eager to accept any help from the western world.

Not at all, that's your typical conclusion... I was stating how you make yourself seem because you let other peoples opinions get to you and that your reactions to them take away from the constructiveness of the thread.

 

You know, in this past month we've had bombs go off in three widely different nations, all attributed to Iran. Just imagine for one second that these bombs were all suitcase nukes.
