Democracy Democracy...

And yet I knew people would say... SPLIT THE FOOD.

The old man still wont make it through the month and the family still wont have a whole bunch of food to feed theirselves. If the food is split the old man will make it more than likly to half way through the month and then die. The family will make it another two weeks. They both lose in the end.


And seriously... one deffinition at a time folks. I can't do this against like 2 or more deffinitions at a time.

In order to keep up with the definition that I had agreed upon with whats his name no one should get the food. SImply because if the old man takes it he also takes the family's right to food. If the family were to take it, they also take the old man's right to life. They both share it they are taking each others right to a long life. The 'Food Example' as I believe I will now call it is meant to show that the deffinition, "The right to do as you please as long as you don't rights away from others" is false. It also points out that the only the strong will survive in a totaly free environment. I do not care what you people say about what you are about to read that I wrote, but you can not tell me other wise and say that with any certainty. The younger man would have simply taken the food and let the old man strave. It is a simple problem of the nature of their environment, if they are out looking for food that simply means there is not enough food in that environment. Since the younger man would have thought the importance of his families health he would have walked away with the food without a second thought. I know that I can not say this with certainty either so it can not be argued to either end.

But my example still stands, and the correct answer is that no one shall recieve the food if we are to go along with the definition I had originally agreed upon.

 

Ahh yes, let them both die. What a good decision.

What makes it okay for you to play god and decide who lives and who dies? Splitting the available food equally is what should be done, and then people get to decide what to do with their own ration of food. How would no one getting food solve the problem at all?

I quit. I can't hold an intelligent conversation with anyone here. This is so bad. Wow, I don't even know how to insult you all so that you can figure that out. I mean seriously I thought I wrote on here in a way that you could all understand but I guess you guys didn't pass alot of your English Composition classes at all. This is a sad sad day. I feel bad for all of you, really, I do.
