Same here. After years of jamming too loud in small spaces, loud anything tends to irritate me.

Had My Ears Tested About 3 Years Ago And The Audiometrist Said My Hearing Was

About The Same As A Typical 24 yo...:).

He Was 35 And His Hearing Was No Where Near My Results.

Quite Amazing Really Since I Have Worked On The Farm All My Life, Driving Tractors With

No Cabins And No Earmuffs, Chainsaws, Working For Weeks In Shearing Sheds,

And Of Course Years Of A Series Of Stereos With Very Big Amps 750rms

    And Very Big Speakers.

In The Last 12 Months I Notice My Right Ear Has A Very Low Whistle Sometimes, But

Other Than That I Can Still Hear A Flea Fart At 30 Paces...:2thumbsup:

    Cheers Glen.

I was actually thinking about bumping my tinnitus PSA a few days or weeks ago.

Unfortunately the only people who care are the ones who already have the irreversible damage done.

My ears ring every day, every minute. Every time I go to bed, and when I wake up. Not to lay a sob story looking for woes but believe me, it is real. Insult me if you need to.

I carry ear plugs in my pocket with my chap stick as casual as people need to remember their house keys.

Whilst in work, I have my earphones plugged in (quite high) to

-> it helps me through the day :)
When at home, whilst I still listen to tunes though, more of a laid back vibe though not blasting as such
Music has, is, and will always be with me :)
    :peace:

We get our hearing checked yearly at work and except for one tone in my left ear my hearing is perfectly fine.

I Don't Want To Sound Too "Olde And Wise"..:wheelchair:..But Trust Me, One Of The Most

Valuable Assets You Can Posess In This Life, Is The Ability To Have A Good Laugh At

    Your Own Expense...:).

I Have Used This Approach To Life Since Forever, Not Only Has It Got Me Out Of

The S**t On Hundreds Of Ocassions, I Think It Certainly Contributed To The Retention

Of My Sanity All These Years As Well..:)..*although some on here may beg to differ*[IMG]

I have super sonic hearing so I don't have to listen to music loud. Every time I go to a club I always ask myself why do I continue to go cuz it hurts my ears sooo bad for days after.

yeah I can't stand loud tvs or music in my car...I keep my music down almost all the way. But people's voices I have a hard time hearing on the phone...and usually low, deep voices are really tough for me. Its strange
