Yeah. I think I read that for SS recipients that even with direct deposit they aren't first in line to get relief. The poorest are supposed to go first, but I think they have to first retrieve the 1099 data from the social security administration since no one on social security has enough money to have to have filed a form 1040.
But I did have to file last year for 2018... Just to prove I didn't owe them anything. So they have my IRS data, they have my SSA data. I'm not holding my breath waiting for this check.
Nope. Probably in the same rough boat as @Tyrsonswood haven't filed a return since the "divorce" and as far as I know I'm still married so if there is a check she likely got it.
Wondering how many checks will go out to people who died of Covid-19 or became homeless while waiting for the checks to be issued.
i got mine. was rather surprised to see the government actually follow through on a promise. it's nice for me, it will help me pay off my car. for people who are no longer allowed to have any income, it seems like not enough to really help with anything.
Measures in place to prevent eviction.. However you bring up a good point with the first. I mentioned the insurance policy cash ins in another thread. Lot of policyholders and inheritance really would like to see some data on that..
thanks. it's not actually paid off yet, but i'm less than a year and a half into a five and a half year loan, and already about halfway paid off. so it's still way better than i expected at this point.
I haven't recieved it yet, and I don't really have any plans for what to do with it. Probably something boring like add it to savings. Thankfully I have no debts.
keep throwing money at it and you’ll get that pink slip in no time. I put most of mine in savings, for a rainy day.
