I had a barefooter ex-girlfriend who liked to stand on my feet if we were in a line, etc. One time we were by a leaking soda machine. We got the sticky syrup on our soles. The tops of my feet were so black after she stood on mine after that. We walked through a parking lot and the dirt stuck to our soles.:sunny:

I don't go barefoot in the snow,
but around this time of year my soles do get pretty black.
I guess that goes with the
    sensuality of going barefoot.
    I can't complain.

Tonight I was helping a friend whose car broke down and in about 20 minutes of walking around the parking lot, my feet became the dirtiest they've ever been.

You're so lucky you can get away with it in Tesco. They seem to be the most barefoot-unfriendly store. I've been admonished several times for acting against "health and safety". Would like to boycott them but my gf likes them for their convenience.:(

I've found a different way of getting into our huge Tesco Extra store where I avoid the 'bouncer' ;)

Sainsburys floor near me isnt that dirty, but man their car park is filthy... Went to the recycling bins yesterday to drop off a load of bottles. A short stroll over to the bins and back to the car, must of been all of about 40 steps. One word for the state of my soles afterwards...... BLACK!!

I walked through a covered parking garage on Saturday going to and from a shopping mall, and OMG feet were totally black after that. Being covered it never gets any rain on the surface to wash away dirt and other junk, so the stuff just sits there.

I remember living in an apartment when I was around 13, like 3 years ago. The parking garage was covered, and I was going to get my bike, and I think I stepped on a black puddle, probably something that came from a car, I have no idea what type of liquid that was (if anyone wants to enlighten me on that detail) and around this time, I was just experimenting going on short, quick moments of being barefoot since I didn't even know of people living a barefoot lifestyle yet. My soles were stained black for just a few days, I'm surprised no one noticed or didn't point it out.

Went to return a movie at a Redbox today and walked only about 50 ft across a parking lot to get to it. In that short distance my feet were black though. Also, got some strange looks as it was in front of a super market and during the busiest time of day.
