you guys, im sorry. i didnt realize this would become a big deal.

i was just kinda pissed when i posted that.... but DO realize that i did credit your quick shipping, and awesome postcards.

all in all, i think that post made me sound like more of a bitch than i am. i am pretty happy with the pants, i just had to stich up the little rip, not a big problem.... if the appliques fall off, oh well, its fine... it'll still say, "one love" on them, and thats why i wanted the pants anyways....and hell, i guess i DID only pay $11.50! good deal!

so, please delete this thread if you wish....

and my DEEPEST apologies go out to funkyphresh... i didnt even think about the "bad" business aspect... im a dumbass.

out of respect for an independant artist who does a hell of a lot of promoting of her goods on here, a little more consideration should have been in place regardless of how pissed off she was 'at the time'. I would just hate to see funky's reputation as a seamstress damaged around here when this is really only a one time occurance. I don't think the price was really an issue here either, because i know funky does it because she likes to, and not really for the money. I see lots of great seamstresses who sell good quality clothing for cheap on lots of sites. Maybe her customer base just isn't that wide yet, so not many people are able to bid or buy her things because they just don't know about her yet, hence the low selling price of her ebay items. Shit happens, things go wrong, i think funky should have been contacted first before putting a dent in her rep around here.

    /rant

i somewhat agree. i still feel the original poster is entitled to say what she feels. just like others have the right to agree or disagree. it just so happens that she did choose the place where funkyphresh is a regular poster with a lot of people who love her work to post that, so i don't think a lot of damage was done. i did also say i personally would prefer to be contacted directly, obviously, if this happened to me. but she didn't. like she said she was upset, i don't think she set out to ruin reputations, she said something spur of the moment. i just can see where she may have been coming from a little bit, i don't think she was trying to be a total bitch, and i said so. that's all.

i have to add that i agree with pharoah's post 100%.

    Hello.

As someone sort of new to the board and maybe not as familar with the different artists we have here, I would like to say that if I purchased something from a seller and it came out less than what I expected, I would first contact the person to try and have it remedied. If that failed then I see no problem with coming to the board to vent any frustrations and maybe let others know of problems so they can decide if this is a person they wish to purchase from in the future. It's not like this poster came on here and bad mouthed Funkyphresh, all she did was say she was disappointed in the sewing job.

I'm sure Funkyphresh has a good enough following, based on the replies to this thread, to not have any problems with continueing to sell her goods. However, for future reference for everyone, if there are issues that arise with an item that you purchased, make sure you contact the seller first to try and straighten things out.

    That is all.

its not a problem peace, i know i have had things get to me with ripped seams that i had to stitch up and I was a little aggrevated. i didnt mean to sound so mean in the last post but this business feeds my kids and it sounded like you were trying to get other customers to stop buying from me and i didnt want them to think I send out things that fall apart on a regular basis, I try everything on before I send it to make sure it is all together, I really do not know what happend with your pants and I am very sorry about it.

closing this : people DO NOT use this as a bad trader/bad seller site.
The correct response would be an ISO for the crafter, without details OR a PM.
