Do any of you drive whilst stoned?

it always seems theres a reason to drive somewhere when im high.

like something always comes up or i get the munchies.

damn right...driving high isn't hard i think they did a study of that but i guess it all depends on if you feel safe enough with your driving capability when your not high...i drive fine you know the occasional missed turn but that's short term memory loss but i drive high most of the time im driving soo it's pretty normal...

As long as I'm not high to the point where I can't control my laughing, I drive better when stoned. I try to never drive stoned while I have green in the car, just in case, though. No traffic tickets so far.. ooo I think that means I can get a special sticker or something.

i drive high all the time.no problems. the only time i got scared and nervous was when i was hittin a bowl and passed a sherriff sitting on the side of the road facing the other way. he saw me and turned around and followed me. i turned off that road and have never been so scared in my life. i take it easy now but i still drive stoned i just dont take any paraphanelia with me.

 

i drive stoned all the time. i´ve "logged" literally thousands of miles driving while high. every cross-country road trip i´ve taken, there´s always a bowl being smoked. i´ve been pulled over multiple times for stupid shit and was extremely baked, but never had any problems.

as long as I dont smell like fresh-smoked weed, i´m fine talking to cops. i dont like to do it, but i´ll be OK.

it´s called "Busted: The Citizen´s Guide to Surviving Police Encounters." it´s about 45 min. long, but the first part deals with a traffic stop. they show you someone getting pulled over, then fucked over by the cop. then they show you the right way to handle the situation. VERY valuable information. memorize it. tell your friends. it just may save you some day.

 

i drive stoned all the time, but usually only at night.

 

I only drive when I'm sick of sitting around my place smoking and its a really nice day out. I've got a tour route mapped down that is the perfect distance to smoke a joint and then chill and listen to music. When I get back I'm tired of driving, so its perfect.

 

Ive driven high probably over a hundred times and Im 17.

 

I try not to, but if i need to get munchies or go home from a friends house i can. I'm always super aware of everything though, i do all the shit they taught me in drivers ed. Scan from left to right, check mirrors, come to a complete stop, etc. I usually end up going a tad under the speed limit if i don't pay attention.

One thing i don't like is riding with my friends while their high, i get scared because they are already bad drivers so it's a buzzkill for me.

 

The question should be do any of you drive not stoned.

 

I do very often, in my group of friends I'm generally considered the designated driver. I think it has to do with the way my mind works. I'm a musician, and when I'm high I play with a lot more flow and grace than I ever could while sober. The same applies to driving; I drive a lot slower and generally a lot better. I just think it affects my motor skills in an extremely positive way, especially on headdies.

 

I drive when stoned quite often. I personally don't notice any difference in my reaction time, and i'm still aware of everything going on around me. Some people just can't do it though.

 

i dont always drive while im stoned but i would rather drive while im baked just because im more relaxed and its easier to focus on just driving. i think that im more paranoid when i havnt smoked but its not really much different. if i had a choice i would drive after smoking especially if im going to be driving for a long time or just be riding in the car for a long time.

 

I can drive stoned mostly for the fact that after like 11pm you'll never see a cop on the roads I drive. So its ok that i drive on the other side of the road on the backroads haha...pretty fun.

In the day its not that hard because usually i'm not super stoned in the daytime.

I wouldn't recommend if you are paranoid/easily excited tho... Or text while driving while stoned.
