I don't think that just having hair makes a girl beautiful.
She needs to wash it, condition it, and style it in a modern fashion and then she may have something.

 

Its sad that people are like this. I had a friend who lost her hair through illness some years ago, and she used to get laughed at aswell. Then again, I know quite a few boys now who have quite long hair, and they often get comments aswell

 

this might sound trite, but consider it a "blessing" (and i don't mean that in a religious way) or like a "lucky filter." you can weed out all the shallow narcissists, all the inconsiderate losers, and those too stupid or too drunk to comprehend basic human understanding. it'll save you a lot of time, and a lot of pain. the people around you will all be true, as the shallow ones will have left. there's no better company than the company of good, positive people. ones who are there for YOU not your hair (or whatever physical characterists people want to judge you on). and hopefully you'll heal from this illness, and your hair will grow back to however you would like it to look (should you decide to grow it out again) and you will still have all the knowledge and lessons from today. i'm sending you positive thoughts, i hope you're able to heal and recover quickly.

 

also i figure i should add that my friend's little sister recently lost all her hair cause of cancer. she's about 13 or 14, and her dad doesn't have the money to buy a "real" wig. she's getting a lot of funny, cheap wigs, like neon blue bob's and long pink hair, etc to "have fun with it." everyone knows she's bald now, so they won't harass her about all the rapidly changing wigs. or at least, i haven't heard of anyone harrassing her and i hope they don't. i think about her and how upset it would make me if people shouted nasty comments at her, or told her that she was suddenly ugly for her lack of hair... and that makes me even more disgusted with the way people can be, with their ignorant shallow remarks.

 

you just need to be you to be beautiful. beauty is private it's internal its not meant to be seen by everyone then it wouldnt be special. love you for real reasons not bullshit superficial ones a pretty face only goes so far inner beauty can be a world traveler.

to me, EVERYONE is beautiful in their own way. yes, it's just hair, and NO it doesn't matter whether you have it, or not. i just personally don't prefer women with no hair. MY CHOICE. to the originator of this thread, i'm sure you look beautiful as you are. i've seen many bald women who are still beautiful. i was just trying to state my opinion. and i hope at least you realise that and understand it.

you're never going to be beautiful to everyone. everyone's tastes are so varied and particular, specific to them that trying to please them all is a waste of time. after all, i think 90% of the top models and actresses out there are just plain gross to look at. but they're the TOP, right? i thihnk you look lovely, but i've always been partial to very short hair. i'm kinda grossed out by long hair, i can't help it.
