haha, not gonna lie, I spend a lot of time on sites like allmusic, I am getting into indie and post rock a lot these days.
yah yah, i'm chilled. just stating the faq, mon. i can't help it if my momma raised me paranoid. not that i'm running for office or anything, but innocent little things like this is how popular misconceptions get created and perpetuated, as i'm reasonably certain you are perfectly well awaire. popular misconception which breed unthoughtabout prioroties which end up creating markets for all the kinds of tyrannical problems we have now. i'm not trying to make anything more serious then it is, but let's not deceive ourselves, or anyone else, as to how these things actualy work. =^^= .../\...
Okay themnax, sorry to have upset you.... Simply put, what I had posted orginally was just a random thought that went through my head. And since I happened to be in the appropriate forum at that very second, I decided to post it. I was just wondering: "I am around a friend who does not drink, should I buy something..maybe it is rude or maybe she won't mind.." oh well, don't need to justify anything more. I don't know who's misconceptions you are talking about in specific by the way. But I try not to perpetuate any, about America, if that is what you are getting at. I am dating a French girl and have quite a few friends in Europe and have traveled there and am going to in the future. and I always try to learn the current sentiments towards America in many of the countries where I have friends, be it France, the Netherlands, Italy or what ever. I am anything but the "typical American", a compliment I can admit to enjoying when my European friends tell me that I am an independent thinker and not a typical american.
I think Pressed Rat needs to listen to Immortal Techinques verse at the end of Angels of Death by Outerspace. 'nuff said
