I used to like a long walk after id been drinking, seeing a side of the city i never normally see, staggering through it for miles on my way home rather than getting a bus etc. pretty dangerous looking back, but i was never mugged or accosted during any of these walks. I was beaten up really badly outside a nightclub once, but all of my drinking had been indoors that night, it was only when i ran off to find somewhere to piss that i got it in the head.

Yes drinking at late hours is like drinking for nothing. Because you don't live your being drunk, you fall asleep just as you close your eyes. If you drink early, you won't get sleepy so you will stay awake when you are drunk.

If I drink outside, I would never drink in a pub because pub would cost me much more money. I sit somewhere outside where people won't see me and drink it. After I finish, I walk to buy other one. But when I am stone drunk, I begin to walk by drinking. I become like that when I am stone drunk. That can cause a problem. It is not good for people to see you walking with a beer in your hand. Police would only warn you not to walk with a beer in your hand but people who see you like that can beat you up. It is also not a good view, I admit. I am supposed to be sitting somewhere when I have a beer in my hand.

 

I live in the country of beer. It look strange not to be holding at least a .5lt stein in your hand at a pub.

It may not be legal but rather accepted.

Though there is really no need to street drink in Germany as there's always markets and beer gardens strung around the place that will allow you to turn a corner and grab a drink under a nice oak.

As long as you are minding your own business you are okay, but creating a problem and vandalism etc. is just not acceptable behavior anywhere really.

A lot of people do street drink where I live because it's all tourists. So they street drink... when they can.... when they won't freeze to death. :d

 

In turkey drinking outside as long as you sit don't cause much problem but if you walk, then it may cause much problem. You have to sit. People can see you drink but you have to sit, it is much better than people seeing you walk. I sit under trees and drink. If you walk, it is a problem. People would tell you why the fuck are you walking with a beer in your hand. You can even get beaten up by someone. Police is not a problem but people around you. Police would only tell you not to walk with a beer in your hand.

 

The reason not to drink in a pub is that a pup costs much more money. Drinking outside is much cheaper. In Turkey there are pubs that are for males. Bars dont let single men get inside because they would bother women inside. Can a man get inside a bar without a woman with him in Germany?

It always costs more money to drink out. I always think that I could buy a box of 24 beers at the price of half a dozen at the pub, but that's not really what I am about. I like to socialize with a few bar flies and friends over some drinks. Sometimes. I don't really worry about money. One of those deals where I'd rather spend and have fun than save and regret it later.

 

Drinking out costs more? You got me wrong. I mean by drinking out is drinking under trees. Pub means inside, bar means inside. Drinking under trees means outside. Trees are outside. You don't drink under trees?
