I'm so bad at cooking, I could pour milk into a bowl of cerial and it'd burst into flames. I can steam veggies on the stove, make a sammich, and prepare flaming bowls of cerial but that's about it really.
i really enjoy cooking actually. but i don`t think i cook good. i experiment with products just for the fun of it.
Fuck I hate cooking.Infact I'm morally opposed to it. I'm from an old steel town.So guys cooking was considered almost a form of homosexuality. I haven't been in a supermarket for years, except to buy beer. I have this nightmare that I'm in one. Sort of feel like people are looking at me thinking "guy in a supermarket, must be a queer". So I sort of have a minor panic attack, run to the check-out, but I have to buy sthg to get out.So I pick up some chewing gum or an inflatable boat, throw down some cash and run thro the door. (yes I am mad..)
Actually I'm really into nutrition for sport and Chinese health practices etc. I've also got really interested in how food is "put together". How your taste buds work, mixing flavours etc. I used to hate cooking, saw it as a real chore. And I genuinely felt uncomfortable with it. Seriously, maybe I should get blinds for the kitchen and start exploring properly. Does this mean I'm "cook curious" now...?
Do I cook? Absolutely, everyday, for our family of 5. I'm a stay-at-home mama/housewife. I think my husband would have my hide if I didn't. Haha! I also bake a lot as well. I'm very experimental in the kitchen, I'm one of those people who are constantly on the look-out for a new recipe to try. Variety is the spice of life after all!
The Italians say that your attitude to food mirrors your attitude to life. I think there's a lot in that. Foods massively important. But the sight of a cooker used to make me feel mildly ill. ...And that was before I'd eaten what I'd cooked...
You should get a Michaelangelo apron... Cooking yes, what I don't like is when they make "concoctions"...mystery meals. If a man could make my favourite foods, that would rule. But a certain someone hasn't figured that out yet. Are you wearing a frilly apron in this dream? This is funny to me because my dad is pretty homophobic, but he loves to cook gourmet. He'll make escargots for a snack...
I've never thought seeing a guy in the grocery store makes him queer! I figure he's got to eat like everybody else, either that, or he was stuck running to the store for the wife.
Yeah, actually when I have to run to the store to just pick up a couple of things, my husband tells me not to pick up... I told him that why I use the little hand basket, to look single...haha
LOL.No I sort of get people from school walk up to me in the dream and ask "so your mrs has got u out on an errand" and stuff.. I picked up one of those baskets but refused to use the handle cos it looks so gay.Someone walked up and said "u know there's a handle there". I replied "yes but then I'd look a queer. No offence mate". Then I realised that was like I was calling him a "queer". Actually I'm really interested in food/nutrition. I'd think "under the thumb".Type of gayness.Like crossdressing, strapons and other stuff.. ( Ok I *am* insane by some people's perspectives)
All of us sad bastards getting so enthusiastic over our skills in the kitchen. I'm probably the saddest of all. I make my own bread and lemonade- How fucking time consuming is that. Obviously nothing better to do with my time ( or am I just incredibly organised?) Good job you don't know me
i agree that hash is better for cooking because its easier but i like the flavor of low or high quality nugs when i cook it. it depends what i can afford too! space cookies are just sugar cookies with cannabutter and cannabis frosting. they send you into outer space. :cheers2:
dilli here... we must be the saddest yet since we make our own yeast and bake our bread in a brick oven and use no propane for anything so we have all that wood to gather... :cheers2: n :sifone: to us
I do cook a lot - and I love it. I can't wait to live an apartment in the fall - to have a real kitchen - as opposed to living in dorms and having to go to the cafeteria or microwave shitty things..
i love to cook. i get cranky if i dont have at least occasional access to a kitchen, but prefer cooking most of my meals for myself. i'm not going to end up a professional chef or anything, and have no training, so when i learn to make something new i have to wing it and sometimes it takes me a try or two to get it right but for an average person, especially a guy in his mid 20s, i'm a damn good cook. recently i've taken to roasting whole chickens. i think its one of my favorite foods to make, apart from grilled skewered meats and veggies. also good with roasts. i mostly only learn to cook things i like, but i can also make an apparently good omelet. i just hate eggs, so i've never tasted one i've made lol
