I will donate to you so you can buy some clothes. 1 million dollars. Make sure to donate that to everyone you know, including me. Thanks, you are very kind
I have had the pleasure to donate to be a supporter of this wonderful forum. Money well spent methinks. At least here I can see what I am getting for not a lot of outlay. All you lovely people for a start! Apart from here I never donate anything at all to nuthin’. I am certainly not going to donate to charity in order to fund fancy offices, and salaries where only a tiny proportion of money donated actually gets to whatever situation one is trying to help.
I don't think of it as donating, merely sharing whatever I can with whoever I enjoy sharing with. Tonight, I gave two bucks to a guy playing keyboards on the street, and had a blast. He's like Herbie Hancock teaches Chopan a thing or two. Is it a donation if I actually enjoy it? My sister likes to deliver food to the poor, just because she likes it and knows it makes her a happier person in general. She was a social worker for twenty years, and knows exactly what kind of drug addicts and degenerates she sometimes delivers to, and knows damned well most people calm down a bit in their thirties and some of us just need more help then others.
Hell fucking no, I don't donate. I'm good and kind to family and friends, but random strangers, GoFundMe assclowns, dying Indian children, and mismanaged "charitable" organizations can go fuck right off.
I don't donate money because that seems sketchy, but time and resources, yes, I have, in the past. Truthfully I don't know if I would get off my ass and do it myself, but my wife has such a big heart that she motivates me. Over the years we've donated everything from blood (until I fainted, of course) to food, water, canned goods, toys for children--my wife even volunteered to go to Houston to help out after Hurricane Harvey. She's quite a gal. And it's always been direct and never through an organization. I don't know how honest some of those places are. I've heard stories.
depends on how you define honest. the all have at least some overhead, because staff have to eat too, and then if its a political cause, its mostly all about lawyers. which how throwing money at either is supposed to help whatever there casus belli might happen to be, is mostly somewhat mysterious other then that. elections, campaigns and a burger and a beer for the campaingn staff, the ones who aren't volunteering their time as their donation. a small donation is a third word country run by ferel female curvines?
Not money, but I volunteer every Saturday at my local SPCA to honour the memory of my beloved rescue cat I got from there. I hope I do him justice and give the kitties there as much joy as he gave me.
I donate to eye charities. I used to give blood but apparently because of my cornial transplants I'm not allowed to donate blood anymore, so I give to eye charities. It has a cute owl emblem. It says I Give A Hoot About Vision, or something.
