I can see that being interesting at least you never really know what is gunna happen and you get to help people.
yeah i can too. maybe its one of those jobs that sounds more interesting than it is though......who knows. it was my first day back today after 4 days leave.....*sigh*
I have this week off then no more leave until February and I just know they will change my days off so that I have to work Christmas.
I'm a chool clener, I quite like it, it's only an hour and a half after school during term time with holidays paid, the pay's not half bad either. A year ago I got a job in Tesco, stuck it out for 9 months but by the end of it I had no social life, dreaded it all week and got told off all the time. So good bloody riddance!
it's always so much worse going back after leave, weekends are bad enough. Moon Beam that sucks u have no leave till febuary now and working christmas sounds pretty crappy too. im not a big christmas fan, but times off is time off.
I don't mind working Christmas iot will be nice as I know all the patients very well and it will be a lovely day, as long as they can work with me on the shifts so that i can get home to my family over Christmas. I don't drive so I need the shifts that give me time to get home.
I teach English at university, it's really not bad, like Roffa said you get paid to read and think and talk to students for a few hours. The marking can be a bit gruesome but I can work in my own time, compared to a proper job we have it pretty good.
