ahahahaha! Typical Marilyn Manson fan to fly off the handle for something they don't even understand. Glen Benton was the lead singer of Deicide. Now re-read that line and see if you understand it a little better. The naive thing was a little facetious condescendence, relax!

 

I think he's pretty cool very intellegent he does his own art and everything so I hear.

A truly misunderstood being. Definately up there as one of my favourite bands of all time, if not my most favourite! (I have a few contenders for the Spuff HotSpot ... all of which are equally good in different ways ... but Manson's been there longer than them all!) I give Mr Warner a big thumbs up! That said, I've never been keen on the Golden Age album.

 

I have most of his cd's, and I own a copy of his biography (which I have read a few times). His is extremely intelligent. has a wicked sense of humor, and he calls it like he sees it. I like his music, and I respect him as a person.
However, shouldn't this thread be in the music forum?

Dogma, Portrait of an American Family

 

I saw MM here in Australia back in 1999. It was at a festival so I thought I'd might as well have a look. At the beginning of the set a huge white sheet covered the front of the stage so when he appeared he looked 20 feet tall!!

Totally freaky man!! He was here again last year and a mate of mine went to see him and she said it was awesome. What a freak but you can't help but admire him.
