I drink instant, so it's ready as soon as the kettle boils. I used to brew, but I found it too easy to drink a whole pot of coffee. My favourite brand is actually the store brand. When I travel to the US I make sure to pack some.
about 4 minutes in one of these...less if you prepare it the night before best coffee i have ever made
those keurig things are disgusting...just a way to use more packaging to charge you more money...and 1 at a time?...try making coffee for 4 people using one of those.....real coffee people dont use those over priced contraptions
I love the coffee my Keurig brews, but I hate the machine itself...I've been through 2 already because it gets all fucked up. But I eat every morning before coffee...I have to put something in my stomach before coffee or else I'm sick all day. So, 20 minutes before I drink coffee is about average.
Because I drink coffee all day it's just a matter of having an extra cup made before I go to bed... Microwave only take 1.45 minutes. I use a funnel and filter, by the way. Boiling water on the stove takes? Whatever, I've never timed it. If the kettle is empty it takes forever because my water pressure sucks in this house. And yes I did eat straight instant once, long, long ago... World changing moment that was, actually.
I use a "cafetiere".It's a small glass container with a plunger. You put the coffee in and pour on hot water. Then plunge down.Takes about a minute.
I use this mocca powder which is really nice and I just have to heat up milk and stir in three teaspoons. Takes like 3 minutes.
if you clean it often and smack it around they work for a long time...they get airlocked and then people toss out perfectly good machines..alll you need to do it slap it around a bit to get the air out
Keurig is an American company btw...some people think its european but i think they just used a european sounding name to try and sound more uppity
Yeah, I've done that. Our one machine has had problems with suction...you'd only get a half a cup each time because the motor was burning out. The next one was pouring half a cup back into the tank because there was a clog. I clean it monthly and I keep a filter in it-even though those filters cost an arm and a leg. Our water isn't "small appliance" friendly.
mine was doing that...half cups when i pressed for a large...and the extra water comes out the little spout at the top of the reservoir....running the cup needle part under hot water and slapping the shit out the machine has fixed that problem twice so far
if i need a boost i just pop an energy shot. after eating something or else it burns the walls of my stomach. i'm on my way to work 20 minutes after waking up.
i do when i feel like it, but it's not like something i do all the time. i don't go anywhere specifically to have coffee either. its not that big of a deal to me. i usually make it super strong and put a lot of choclet in it when i do. then milk. no sugar other then what's in the choclet. basically i use powdered chocklet instead of sugar or as sugar. and as for making the coffee itself, yes i have a grinder and buy whole bean, and then i have this little expresso machine that was a wedding present that long ago. but like i said, i don't do this often. sometimes i go to starbux and have an ice mocha. usually when i'm on my way home from the bank or the store, but that not often either.
