If you do move animals off of the road, wait till you can pull over safely. and Make sure yoU use an shovel or some other kind of equipment, or if you have to pick it up use, really thick leather gloves. You could get all kinds of zoonotic diseases that these animals carry. if you are not careful. I am all for trying not to run over animals, and help them off the road, but you must be cautious about it. and If you have to run over an animal, it happens. What I have seen my dear friend T do, is after he ran over it. on accident,he pulled over, got gloves on, moved it off the road, and said a prayer, and asked that the animal spirit find its way home in the spirit realm.

It always sucks hitting an animal, but you shoudlnt hurt yourself in the process. My brother swerved to miss an deer in the road, he went straight into a rock boulder, and his face hit the steering wheel at full impact, and his face, was literally torn apart, ripped apart, he is lucky to be alive now, and it took years for his face to heal after surgery.

YOur life is not worth risking.
I hate animals dying. but be wise about it.
