I used to smoke a bit, I tried my first one at 12, then didn't really have that many after that till I was about 15 - 16, but even then I only went through about 10 a week and I only really did it if I was out with friends, I wasn't ever addicted or anything like that. After that I gave up, was just too expensive, I'm 17 btw now. I'll have the occasional one, but because they are so few and far between, when I do have one I don't really like the taste like I used to.
I'm a smoker BUT! I've cut down a lot since moving into my new apartment where we aren't smoking inside. My boyfriend and I plan on quitting before summer. Luckily, I can quit smoking very easily...
I've been smoking since I was 10, and been trying to quit ever since. But here lately i've been doing good mostly because i'm w/d from other stuff and I can't smoke during it.
Yup. Roll-your-own American Spirit FTW! Ha I'm poor so it's usually Top or if I get tailor-mades Pyramids lol.
Why do people call smoking cigarettes a habit when it's an addiction? It's like saying " Oh, I have a nasty crack habit". To answer the question, Yes I do smoke cigarettes sometimes. Probably one cigarette every few days
I dont smoke cigs, but its not for lack of trying! They taste pretty gross and make me sick to my stomach. But it sure would be nice to have an excuse to step outside and take a break at work! i used to lie and say I did, just so I could take breaks, but the boss put an end to it when she found out she couldn't bum a fucking cig from me. greedy pigs.
I grew up watching my mom smoke everyday and when she got out of bed in the morning she would damn near hack a lung up every time. I could not see myself doing that. Then latter in life she had to carry around an oxygen tank to be able to breath, but the worst part was watching her die in a hospital bed because of it. I have never smoked a single time in my life and I never will. I wish all kids would never start smoking because they think it is the cool thing to do. Dying isn't cool.
I never smoke tobacco. I tried cigarettes, out of curiosity, but I was never open to the idea of becoming a smoker. I think tobacco is only for people who don't understand what it does to you. I worry about young smokers, whenever I see them. Especially when it is a slow and miserable death, such as lung cancer or emphysema. There are much better ways to go. Smoking also ages your face prematurely. It's almost as bad as excess sun exposure (without sunscreen) for causing wrinkles, and making them worse.
Yeah, Mom died from emphysema. Her last years weren't her best. I had a brother in-law who got skin cancer and was gone in less than six months. He never spent much time in the sun but was very light complected.
Ive never smoked...I tried it a few times and just didnt like it plus i been to too many funerals caused by lung cancer that spread out
