Do you take your shoes off?

Unless I leave again soon I always take them off when I'm at home.

I have never understood why people would want to leave their shoes on all day. I think it feels so good to get home and take them off as well as the fact that it keeps the floors cleaner.

If I took my boots off anywhere I would find any pin/needle/glass/razorblade etc. that had been dropped in that location over the last 40 years... even in areas I hadn't walked in. It's like the fuckin' twilight zone, man! Seein' that stuff flying across the floors an' shit and impaling themselves in my feet.... Damn!

 

It depends. I have tile flooring and dogs. If they tracked dirt and sand in and I don't feel like vacuuming and mopping I wear shoes or flip flops. If it's clean I don't wear shoes.

All in all I barely wear shoes anyway unless I'm at work, it's hot here.

 

I take them off and put on a pair of house shoes since i have feet problems and have to wear shoes with inserts all the time.

 

I always wear slippers in my own house.

 

I'm seldom wearing them when I'm out, much less home.

I always take my shoes off in the house. Bare feet are just fine with me.

I have some friends though who prefer to leave their shoes on and that is fine with me as floors are cleaned. I know one person who will not allow bare feet in her home so when I visit her I leave my shoes on.

that's because it is weird . I like shoes and I like the feeling of parts of dead cows on my feet .

Hi Gyro, I tend to agree. If god didn't meant us to wear shoes he wouldn't have given us feet.

 

I leave them on unless they're particularly dirty. If it's anyone else's place though, Ill take them off.
