Well I am glad to see that you believe Babylon is America also... However you state that you have heard so much of Christianity factual credit and discredit that you don't want to hear it anymore... That is to bad.

I just hope you understand that most of the world does not believe in Jesus nor the Bible. We are only a handful of Christians verse an unbelieving world but yet I am convinced that the evidence found in the Bible surpasses any other religion. Because of the evidence found the Bible, it gives me a foundation for my faith-A reason to believe. And also gives a skeptic what they want--proof that the Bible is the true word of God.

Don't believe in what may feel good or seems right according to the world, for the world is flawed, but rather what is true. Because truth in the end truth wins : )

ok, maybe it's time to close this thread, and to just agree that rastafari does not only consider america to be babylon, but that it plays a big part in it...i'm sorry, JesusDiedForU, that it has come down to people making fun of your beliefs...we had a good debate going for a while, and i enjoy discussing things with people strong in there beliefs!

    Hey guys,

    A little off topic but,
is there a reason or concept to why you guys say "I and I"
    cuz I dig it.

Or, I and I dig it.

I think synaptic aether is awesome.. and phunkyphreshmama is right on...
jesusdiedforU... christianity is about unconditional love and acceptance..if you understood that then youd chill out a lil bit.. what youre arguing is a faith based religion..faith based in a book.. albeit a long believed infallible book, yet the mere belief that it is 'perfect' is unenlightened..do you not realize that it has been translated through cultures and languages for hundreds of years, it was written by multiple authors... that paul is a bastard(ie. all the bullshit he came up with about jesus being the creator of wine, a son of god and a mortal woman, him being rejected by his hometown, him being crucified and resurrected are ALL based on the mythology of DIONYSES.. yes he used these arguments to attract the grego-roman world to christianity when he went on his crusades)... you must look at the bible as if it were archeology, something dug up through the centuries.... multitudes of stories placed upon one another.. different ideas of who jesus was from different communities...

what about the gospel of thomas?...
if you really studied jesus you would know he was an essene living on the outskirts of civilization..he truly was a rasta, and he knew what babylon was... he was merely an enlightened mind, speaking.. a talking head... enlightening those who would listen... trying to get them to understand that 'I AM'.. and so too are you the same 'I AM' and this is GOD... and not until you realize that YOU are the messiah will there be a returned savior... we all must realize this..and this is where the disciples and jesus made their mistake.. this should have been the message, and they would have found that next disciple which was missing at the end of Jesus's life... be the messiah and stop arguing cause you are obviously confused..
    much love brother,
spread the light and love..but forget the argumentation... hug and smile, and be the kind messiah you were meant to be, confronting persons on the internet will only turn them away from your beliefs, narrowing their path further.. follow yours and love life because GOD wrote in the cosmos and in the creation, he wrote in life..the web of all things.. not in some human created language on paper... thats a narrow conceptualization of what GOD can do... the creator of all things
search other religions and see the pure thread of truth running through them all, and then you will be saved... =)
    lovin'light
    ADAM

oh. KBlaze, InI is that realization of the IAM.. or the godself, or that with every I, there is a multitude of I's.... it can also mean you. its plural, its singular, its overstanding.... purity, livity, all things in one. ONE

That statue, I see it's the rule of money. For a long time, I think, it was a necessary evil. But the bonds they come brittle, they're gonna break.

Old habits die hard but they stop here, even us babylonians are starting to see that. The world has too much wealth to keep count of these days.

I am not a rasta. In fact I have no religion. But yes, America is Babylon.
We live in a wasteland of greed and materialism, an empire of self-indulgence. Everyone's down with the sickness. War pigs, police, presidents, politicians, businessmen, celebrities. All guilty. All not caring. The children of America are raised to sneer at those who are different. They are brought up to pursue wealth. Those who try to reject the system and break away from this Babylon are trampled underfoot. I don't know... I feel so strongly on this matter. I just thought I'd throw in my two cents.
    One love.
