    Hahahaha deflecting like a muuhfuukka.

I'm not bothered by shit. I'm just curious why straight people give a shit why my desire to fuck and love women is self induced or biological?

You don't have to dive face first into pussy, so why are you so concerned about why I do it?

We don't discuss heterosexuality and whether or not its a choice. We're too busy enjoying being gay to care. So it's just weird to me that straight people are so into discussing being gay without, so they claim, being gay

    So what gives?

Because you guys make a fuss about it.

However you guys are the ones who rose such a big stink about being gay in the first place.

I wonder more about people who are born bi-
Are they people born gay but have straight sex also just because they can without harassment or are they born straight and just want to try what it's like to be gay.
    Or are they born bi-.

I sure as hell can go pick up a man or a woman if I wanted right now...well I think I can.

By the way, other people caring about it is a pretty weak-willed reason for you to care about it. A lot of people make a big stink about pro football, but I don't give a shit.

Political rights fight aside, I have never seen a person who has been out more than two years be in anyone's face about their sexuality, in person.
The presence of a girlfriend is simply the same as a man having a girlfriend. She's there and part of another person's life.

Legal rights aside for things like being in hospital with your partner, inheritance rights, custody and adoption, insurance through your partner's work...

Born v choice? It's a hard wired attraction. Same with bisexuality. And heterosexuality.

My hunch, since we do not know, is that the brain makes the choice unconsciously. That it's integral to the person, and cannot be truly changed. And I suspect it is present from birth.

I'm happy To describe myself as bi - I love all oral and penetration with both women and guys, as well as being penetrated by guys; i find both guys and girls attractive - well not all but am attracted to ones that rock-my-boat and that can be when viewing them from afar - so what is it that I can see somebody walking along the street, male and female, and find them attractive....if not bisexual? As per all the different charts & scales (kinsey et al) there are perhaps different levels - i know for instance that I am attracted to guys who are a little more feminine, i.e. not big and hairy, and women who are a little boyish.

    Live the dream - yaaaay

What is it that you actually want answer though?

    The science of what?

If we are talking about the thread topic, why people think people are 'born' gay

For the most part its just what gay people say in response to some straight people asking the question

You werent born being aroused by woman, thats ridiculous, you wouldnt have even started looking at boobs in a sexual way until near puberty.

And there are a trillion things that happen between the moment of conception and that point.

You are going to argue the science, why assume anyone at this point of time has a clue?

Except we do, its mostly about interacting with same age peers of all genders in that 2 to 6 yr range. Which in itself is an endless and circular argument, as I have to convince you you dont remember anywhere near as much of that time as you think you do. And leads to more important dilemmas that most people simply wont accept anyway - that the role of any parent means squat compared to those same age peers, everything else about your life is also determined in those 4 years not just sexuality, and from that age onwards you are being led the whole time by needs and wants that you are never conscious of because your own brain never tells you and you dont remember

Theres more scarier stuff than worrying about whether you have a secret switch inside your head thats going to go off in 10 years and all of a sudden you are going to love sucking dick

Who are the guys who make parades about their sexuality? Who are the guys who has an LGBT+alphabet soup organization? Who were the guys that sued a bakery for not making a cake for their wedding?

No, gay people have been persecuted and discriminated by straight (''religious'') people for a long time, that is the only reason that they became so outspoken over their rights being violated. If their rights were never violated in the first place........

To the question, I think that yes, many gay people may be born gay, but many may choose to be gay. I think the problem for many people is that they follow a religion that tells them marriage and sex should only be between a man and a woman, and so they just can't see past that. They think, why would a god say THAT, and then also ''create'' people to be gay? When I followed Christianity though, I never judged what consenting adults do, it's their lives. And it's not for me to judge their relationship to God or anyone else. There are straight atheists who have issues with homosexuality, but for the most part, it seems to be something that the religious right is hung up on.

The people that were oppressed because of their sexuality. For centuries. I thought that's why these parades are held now. To celebrate. It's a big change in history that they can be gay openly now... uhm in some places. Which is another reason to have those parades and such organisations.
I think you know all this. But you just like to argue (subtlely different thing as debating ;))

Just because a certain act is oppressed doesn't mean it shouldn't be. Incest is viewed down upon. Should we legalize that?

Oh look, you're now arguing that gay people should be oppressed. How quaint

Anyways you're making a false equivalency there

Why do you think that homosexuality should be illegal? Incest has more to do with affecting the gene pool, and that in turn affects society. (and if underage kids are involved, they are not consenting) Two consenting adults of the same sex, having a sexual relationship together, doesn't hurt anyone.

So you think that a straight person can make the choice to be homosexual...I assume you have a scientific reason for believing this.

Nonsensical also. Looking forward to see his attempt in explaining how homosexuality should be oppressed because we as a whole also look down on incest :-D
