Now Thats What I Call A "Top Shelf" Post...Thank You. But, Unfortunately Cate, Some Of Us Are Still "Drifting" Between [all of the above]. Ya See.....Weve' Been........Used..Abused..Dumped..Divorced..Had Our Hearts Broken..Bashed..Thrashed..Humiliated..etc..etc..etc. Sooooooooo.......Now We Find Ourselves All Alone... Cynical..... And Gathering Wrinkles By The Minute.....(aint that the truth).. So What Do We Do Now...?? F***ed If I Know. BUT.........Before I Turn Emo And Slash Myself.. I'll Take Carefull Note Of What You Posted.......And Say, Yes I Truly Believe We All Have A "Better Half" Out There Somewhere.. But...Where The F**k Is He Hiding..? Cause I'm Running Outta Time Here... Cheers Glen.
I voted I don't know. I've never really dated (one bf, about three days. ) so I can't say but I hope there are several possible people for each person. If not I'm screwed.
I voted no, I think most people seek love (just the same as religion) to make themselves feel like they have a purpose for living like there's something more to life than what we physically see.... the reality is: life's a bitch than you marry one, pay your taxes and die...the end
Come on now Mary, there is about 99% more to life than we can currently see lol. Just like light takes time to catch up with reality, so do our minds.
Relayer, I have no idea what that means but it sounds deep. I wanted to vote "There are lots of people for everybody except YankNBurn, who is cursed to die alone" - why wasn't that an option?
I know, I"m just really bitter today....don't even read my posts for the next month they're going to be outlandishly bitchy until jan 5 when the ex leaves
Think about it, it's simple. We measure the age of the Universe by finding that light has gone 13 billion lightyears expanding so far. The light that is shed on objects is slowed down in your eyes, the photons of said light are not the same ones in my eyes as yours. We all see reality differently in nearly every sense, but what we dont see is what brought it all into being. The Big Bang happened, we discovered microwave background radiation, and light is still racing out into expanding space. Therefor any opinion we have as to defining what a purpose is, is actually extracted from a process which has already happened, which we are very slowly catching up to.
lots of people for everyone i think, people can be in love but change to much over time and then find themselves no longer in love, then meet someone else lardy de dar de dar. i hope that never happens to me though. i hope i've found my one person.
I do think there is someone for everyone. BUT i think people bind themselves to outrageous standards and sometimes miss the person who could mean the most to them. >.< im a dude btw
Totally. So I guess there IS someone for everybody  Sorry, its just that I'm in that mood. K ?
