Do You Wear Make-Up Daily??

Well, most of the time I don't wear it...I'm probably not stunning lol, but my skin has finally cleared up mostly *knock on wood* so I don't really HAVE to anymore (I did when I had all my zits, I was too self concious without it) So I figure I might as well help my skin stay clear huh? I do like to put on makeup to go out with my husband or some friends...since I don't do it much, the act of putting on makeup helps make the outing feel more special, ya know?

 

I wear make up if i'm going to leave the house. I enjoy putting it on and seeing what new things i can do.

 

I wear make up everyday. I like to look nice. There's a guy at work who makes a huge scene and teases me if I wear anything besides jeans and i sweatshirt i know I'm rocking when I get a wooohooo when i walk into the office.

 

I don't wear make-up anymore. I feel so much better when I don't. Make-up makes my face feel all gross. I do however love some lipgloss!

then i went through a time were i put it on pretty often, whenever i went out.

now, i only put it sometimes when i go out....depends if im in the mood and if im having an ugly day.
but i love black eyeliner and mascara i have to say, and dark lipstick

 

I don't wear make up, but my grandma wears make up to go to bed, she says she likes to look good in her dreams, she's done that since I was little, probably before that, I used to wear lipstick when I was 16, because my aunt took me to Victoria's Secrets to get my face done and she bought me lipstick and other lip stuff, also when I was a junior I think in high school and a senior for a little while I wore eye shadow somedays and foundation some days but I really only did it because I thought I had to to be a girl. I was conditioned to feel like a boy by my mom and she told me that if I didn't wear earrings I would look like a boy so they always bought me jewelry and painted my nails and bought me make up when I never wanted any of that, now I do what I want.

 

98% of the time I don't -- I don't need it, so why waste my time?

Every now & then, tho, it's fun to play with... All I have, tho, is eyeshadow, mascara, & lip gloss... Oh, & the black liquid liner that I bought for a halloween costume, but it's not something I would use other than as a costume!

 

i only wear makeup if i am going out at night and it consists of a bit of eye makeup and lipgloss.... luckily i dont need foundation etc...if i look a bit pale i might use blush....

 

I never wear it anymore. I've never got the hang of foundation and such, but in high school & college I did wear lipstick, eye shadow & eye pencil. It didn't look bad but I've just got used to doing without... The only thing I still use semi-regular is nailpolish, but only in winter, can't wear it at work & it's a bit of a waste to put it on for just one or two days.

 

I wear concealer when I'm broke out, but other than that I hardly ever wear it.

 

i used to never wear make up..well, hardly at all but now i got a nice expensive but GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN make up kit... the make up really let's your skin breathe, still look natural and gives it a lift.. i wear it when i go out but i dont over do it. it's fun though when i do put it on.

 

Make-up? I don't even brush my hair.

Make-up makes me feel so fake, like I'm deceiving people about what I really look like. Nope, I won't paint my face with colors and textures that aren't mine.

 

yeah but your dark and everso beautiful and your eyes are already perfect! I put makeup on over my sunscrene on my face in teh summer to protect my skin and it works. Im so white I burn so easy so it actualy helps me from the sun and not just fot the looks part of it

 

Not really. I don't really see the need, and I don't really have the time to put it on.

 

I use mascara since my eyelashes are blonde and it doesn't look like I have them at all. Other than that, I only slop on the makeup if there is a special occasion (family photos, weddings, etc...). Honestly, makeup makes my face break out really bad, and I am so pale that I can never find the right shades of foundation anyways. And I was a tomboy so I never got any practice putting it on, so I have no special makeup tricks or anything like that.

 

Once in a while. Usually if we are going out or something. I DO wear foundation, but I didn't start wearing foundation until my mid 30s. Your skin changes, I didn't feel I needed it until then, and it make me feel like my skin was greasy and suffocating, like others have said.

I am Mediterannean and I have circles under my eyes, so I look really tired if I don't wear some cover up. But only if I am going out for dinner or seeing a client or something.

I never wear mascara, I am allergic to all of it.

It is nice to see so many natural womyn out there!!!!

 

i wear a tinge of concealor everyday because i have really bad acne... i feel self consciece (sp?) if i dont...

but if im not broke out, i dont.

i like to try out liners and shit like that.. but always makes me end up looking tired and sad because it all ends up in bags underneath my eyes!

 

i wear a little eyeliner or blush sometimes if i have time and feel like it.

 

I only wear some eyeshadow of nice colours (sometimes to match my top), I curl my eyelashes with a spoon and put on some lipstick. I cant wear foundation cos my skin tone doesnt allow it (i look like a flammin' clown) and it's just not necessary. I only do this when i go out, but sometimes I forget but doesnt really make much difference.

 

Maggie Sugar hit part of it. I didn't need any kinda foundation until I was in my mid thirties. My skin tones arent as even or as smooth as they were and like some said also, I have blonde lashes (something stayed blonde,lol) I don't wear it everyday but when I'm going out sometimes, and in the work force if I need a more polished look. Gotta look "prefessional" pffft~*~**
