Do your eyes change color?

When it is warm and light and my hair is blonded by the sun, I have deep blue eyes. When it is rainy and cold and my hair is darker I have emerald green eyes. So in between that I usually have green/blue eyes with a touch of grey.

 

Hmmm, I never drew that correlation, but "once in a blue moon" my eyes go blue when I'm not on a night scedule.

Makes me wonder why they do that, has to be a purpose.

 

Nope. My eyes are really dark all the time.

Changes in pigments called eumelanin. The melanin content and desnity of cells in the iris reflect the distribution of light over different wavelengths , thus giving off different colors.

 

normally they're brown. when i'm really high or hungover, they're brown with lots of red

 

the green outer ring of my eyes are fading and my eyes are turning more orange every day. used to be a ring of orange and a ring of green. but age is killing the green. oh well. orange eyes are cool, too. i have cat eyes. more so now than ever. goes well with my alley cat nature.

 

my eyes are blue, and always blue, my husband "cogliostro on here" has the most wierdest eyes ive ever seen -- theyre green with orange that turns red sometimes, he has eyes like a cat

 

Mine are hazel and turn green sometimes

 

depending on the lighting mine can look either blueish or greeny

 

you should go on jeopardy or something...seriously.

i used to think i was intelligent but you really put me to shame.

i guess the phase "use it or lose it" really is true. my brain is suffering from extensive disuse. :tongue:

 

hazel sounds boring though and your eyes are pretty AND you have long eyelashes. yehuh :H

i had a class with this girl in college who had orange eyes. they were pretty startling when i first saw them. they weren't hazel, they were orange. like the orange rings in my eyes, but it was over the whole iris. it was so cool.
