I'm actually not shocked or offended by those pictures. I mean, if I didn't know that he was her father, yeah, it'd look kinda like an advertisement for cheap cologne. Pft. You people are just looking for things to get offended by here.
Why is everyone ganging up on Miley and calling her a skank? Isn't her father the one in the wrong since he is the parental figure and adult? I do not think she is a skank...I think she is a victim of being a brand, rather than a person. I think it's sad that her father sells out her sexuality. She is a kid-not a skank.
Her "almost nude" pictures look good. She's only showing back and shoulders. So she's a little young. Big deal. A lot of young people do sexual things. I dare anyone to tell me they don't. She's acting like a normal teenager, developing natural sexuality. Only difference here is that the pics are plastered all over magazines. Another problem is the rigid standards people are setting for those in Hollywood. How can they expect her to live up to such high standards? She's a person, she's going to want to act like one without having to worry about what people think about her. It's not like she's going out flashing her pussy. Parents should be monitoring what their kids watch. They shouldn't be teaching their kids that something or someone is acceptable and wholesome because she's perfect or adheres to a certain set of standards every second of every day of her life. They shouldn't leave their parenting up to Hollywood. Let people do whatever the fuck they want, and if you don't approve don't let your kids watch it. She doesn't owe it to anybody to censor herself.
i've always been opposed to parents who blame the media for their fucked up kids BUT i think you are under-estimating the influence of media on kids these days. it's just not that simple to censor your kids from that crap. it's literally everywhere. if they don't get it your place they'll see it at their friends houses, there is so much pressure on kids to be "sexy" it makes me sick. i agree with you though, the parents role is critical in giving kids realistic ideas and good role models. it just makes me sad that society is so fucked up especially when i see 12yr old girls walking around in mini skirts that show their ass hanging out. this generation of parents really suck at parenting.
Hmm... I don't have a problem with it... if only he had more paternal looks... but oh well... she's his daughter, after all... perhaps a few reminiscences of the Oedipus complex?? But then again, it's only a pic, they just posed for this...
Everybody get out of here there's a Mullet on the loose....... http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=8221254
i have a problem with people who are prejudiced against anything outside of the arbitrary cultural assumptions they are familiar with. whatever beliefs, idiologies, economic theories, or anything else they use as an excuse for doing so. i don't see anything particularly "hot" about anyone in that picture, but i have a very major annoyance with the vast amount of human suffering that is caused by the imposition of the assumptions upon which the stated negative reactions to it, appear to be based upon. =^^= .../\...
She might as well be wearing a T-shirt that says fuck me! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77ewV2l0fN8&feature=related hotwater
I like the Hannah Montana show. I think it is adorable and I understand why it is popular. I always loved the disney channel when I was in the US. It is very common for Vanity Fair to publish photos like these, theres a very romantic quality to them.. The only iffy situation is that she is SOO young. I can say that as an older person, but if I am to be honest, when I was 12, I was being risque myself. SO. Im not offended at all. I like Miley. An Thank you Bella, she is NOT a skank, she is a KID.
Jamie Lee Curtis: "When these young people get all dressed up for award show red-carpet events don't we all comment how beautiful, stunning and grown-up they look in their strapless/backless dresses and heels and tousled hair? None of this is new. None of this should be news. But it is news because it is a business. It is all Business. It is called Show Business. Show Abyss-ness! I call it Show-OFF Business. You throw a child into the jaws of a business and they will get eaten."
Seriously though. WHO CARES I wanna run away to another planet where people have more important things to worry about then miley cyrus or whatever her name is and britney spears....
I know seriously NUTS. But I guess thats what happens when hollywood and crazy christian run amuck in one country
Yeah.... I'm just saying every time Britney sneezes I have to hear about it... I shouldn't have to know so much about these people's lives... what really makes me wonder is- well, I honestly could care less about any of these people but since they are on the news so much there must be people out there who really CARE... who are these people?
I think it's a really cheesy pose...that's about it. I wore clothes like that at 15. I do think that the nude posing is a bit much for someone too young to know how this will affect them personally. Once it's out there you can't take it back, she should have just owned it and not said she was embarrassed...but again, she is too young to know better..
