sorry man but I think that's wrong. some things are partially absorbed by the mucous membrane, and can hit harder. I believe 4-ho-dipt hits within like 5 minutes, or so I remember from pihkal.

btw the banana thing I haven't heard of. the rest looks good. nutmeg from the grocery store. I've heard of coleus blumei or something like that as being a high-getting houseplants.

i wonder if every plant with psychedelic properties has been discovered. it would be neat if you just started smoking random things and you started hallucinating.

^I really doubt that they have all been discovered. but I bet most common plants have been tried out. The undiscovered ones would be deep in the jungle or underwater or something like that.

jeez the way you put it sounds a lot worst. i was thinking i could travel the world sampling stuff and tripping on something the rest of the world has never discovered. i guess the idea just seemed a lot better last night.

That's not such a far out idea, in fact, pharmaceutical companies do that on a regular basis, although not usually searching just for hallucinogenic plants but for any medicinal plants. They just ask the native peoples in the area, what they use and what its used for, then collect or buy some from them and test them in a lab, too see if they really work and what chemicals in them make them work. They find the active compound and add an atom here or there, and see what it does. I remember reading that something like about 50% of all pharmaceutical drugs are derived from plants. If someone was really interested in medicinal and/or hallucinogenic plants, research the knowledge of them from the indigenous peoples in the area, they have probably tried many or most of the them.

I swear to god I ALMOST considered it. I ALMOST did.

    and then I was like

    what the FUCK!?

Datura grows around houses sometimes. Salvia absolutly does not grow anywhere. Maidens Wattle, Phalaris, ect. if you're willing to extract DMT from those you've got it. Can't think of others now.

Catnip gives mild effects when smoking and can be bought in stores. You might be lucky enough to find a San Pedro in a nursury (Mescaline, another extraction). Opium Poppies can sometimes be found around.
