I have only been the one time, the most recent one, and it rocked my socks to say the very least!
Transport: we drove up, but dunno what will be happening this year cos there is more people coming with us this time. However I will have my P's by then, so maybe my friends (who may also have Ps) and I could still drive up. Who knows?! Oh well, we'll work it out...
edit: I have the opportunity to GET my P's, whether or not my "supreme" driving skills will allow this is questionable!

But a close family friend died, so i was 2 hours away but just not there, but you know this year im gonna be there no matter what heheheh.
