I believe in God and that there isn't just one. There may be just one who currently reigns over us but they may just be a race of dieties that control the natural balance of the universe. Or possibly they just chose to reign over us.
it's a universal consciousness... unfathomable and transcendental of all human institutions... least thats what i think. i donno anymore than you do
I don't think anyone is ever going to know the truth about God. Well, at least not while they're alive.
I find it hard to believe there is a God in a world that's so evil. But I believe there is some kind of spiritual dimension to life. I feel it in Nature and in Animals.
As for you that are arguing that there needs to be a definition of what God is, just get off the fence and say yes or no? Nobody is going to hold you to it if you want to change your mind. The idea behind the poll as I see it isn’t to prove the existence of God or not or find out how many Christians or Buddhists there are but to see which way hip forums leans, toward atheism or theism. Or seeing as the person that started the thread is atheistic perhaps he just wants to know if he’s out numbered or not!
I'll always believe in God, even though I've previously had doubts. There may be a lot of evil in the world, but that's because of Satan. I'm sure the world had a lot less evil thousands of years ago, it's too bad the world isn't that way anymore.
atheist here, therefore i don't believe in any supernatural deity. however, we must respect the rights for everyone to believe or not to believe as they choose.
i stopped believing when i was 8 even though i was raised catholic, cause i thought about it. At 18 i became a Buddhist aka spiritual atheist.
Don't think I could ever be an Atheist. Something had to create all of this, it couldn't just create itself.
God exist! And I now that for sure. When I pray I feel him,I now that he is listening to me,He is my god ,my father and my friend because he loves me and all us with a infinite love.He is invisible, but all the visible things was made by invisible(from the bible). If you want you will fill him.
if there is a god, it is nature itself. therefor, there's no actual "supreme being". there is nature. there is energy. the end.
freakymetalchik thats right. i know spiritual people who will replace the word god for nature and you cant do that. you never hear someone say they dont believe in nature do you, they are not the same thing. The one god concept came from ignorant arab religions.
I believe firmly in one God. I don't believe that anyone can define God because he is different to everyone. Although I am Catholic, I believe that a person should find God on his own their contemplation and life experiances, rather than believing purely in a human institution for divine guidance. We should use the Church to support our relationship with God, rather than define it.
