Does it Matter When president Bush Says This?

I miss all those shows. I believe the influx of blacks in the media was a result of the evolution of how society viewed race at that time. And at the time, racism was starting to take a sort of a dip. But It's not hard to see that it is resurfacing again, and in a big way, so yes, I am afraid we might be seeing alot more incidents like the whole Jena 6 thing. We are eons away from a free world in which we all live as one. It is very sad, but undoubtedly true.

 

have y'all noticed the massive increase in my typos these past couple weeks? it's really bugging the fuck out of me.

so anyway, i have an odd, embarassing story. my high school had about 6 black people. it's was in Orange County, so you can't blame me for it. of those 6, NONE were attractive, except for vicky and she was so sexy it was ridiculous. but i stil wasn't "out."

anyway, this guy shows up and school one day with his sister. myron was his name, i think. and OH MY FUCKING GOD, he was exquisite, perfection. i couldn't take my eyes off him. and i thought to myself, "holy shit, does he think i'm staring at him because he's BLACK?!!" he caught me staring at him in the library one day, and at the end of that day, he and his sister took the bus home. so they're walking down my street, and my mother, who, like me can't help but appreciate a gorgeous male specimen, STARED at him as he walked down the street. i thought to myself, Indian boyfriend or not, my shot is TOTALLY ruined.

 

I love men.

I don't think what he has said will really make a real difference to the current climate of racial hatred, but it cannot do much bad. It's also a lot better than most of the crap that spews from his gob. So yeah, I think it's a positive thing.
