i hate waiting for other people to do shit for me. you should see the dent i put in the weeds out front yesterday, in about an hour. its hot now, so i may only do 15-30 minutes, but imma get my butt out there and pull more. my parents always said if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. i hate waiting, luckily i rarely hurt myself doing jobs i should have help on. i move furniture and build stuff, i do yard work, im not afraid of the mower, etc. so much to do. have a week left, fine has to be paid today. and a couple of small bills.

bank sucked out a payment almost as soon as money went in there. good thing i thought to put in the extra bit. hubby gets his direct deposit tomorrow, which should help cover the next bout of bleeding. ::rolleyes:: going to cancel some of the cards too i think. dont need them, they only hurt us.

Well, if your DIL to be is tall (and/or) handy around the house, she might can stand in until you find that handyman.

We have a problem around here with so SO many claiming to be handymen, then assing around and barely/half-ass doing a job and then wanting way too much...or wanting money first, which isn't gonna happen (anymore).

It is amazing to me how much people (young people for the most part) want for the simplest of tasks that take more muscle and/or height than I have...and I'm speaking of these people that act like they are "down on their luck". AND I''m speaking of tasks that don't even take an hour. gad

The last ass that tried that crap here with me - I told him well, he need not think he was going to find a wind fall here to make up for whatever he'd been through in his past.

I wonder if he knew what I meant when I said wind fall. :p I guess he figured out when he was paid what I determined was the "right amount" and he was never called again. lol

When/if the handymen do come over, offer them some water at least. It may not do much for the price, but from the worker's perspective it feels a lot better. And they may put a little more effort into the job when they do it.

I've been in Amsterdam the past 3 days, it's nice here but it is raining quite a bit. I'm going to miss the hash when I go. I found some really nice Nepal cream that is just so soft and delicious.

I saw a Hine's Emerald Dragonfly today! I know nobody here will care about this, but it's an extremely rare species. First time I have seen one in the wild. I am pretty pumped about this. Unfortunately I could not take a picture of it in time.

I wish he'd have stuck his ears up lol. It's like every time the phone or camera is displayed, it's ears down and look away all sad. I liked his face though. :D

ears pinned back are more like streamlined when they are in attack mode. Julie has omnidirectional ears.. sometimes, one will point forward and the other turned back. her ears get the most comments..

When I worked at an animal shelter I took a German Shepperd home but the dog I already had did not like to share. I was walking the Shepperd and my neighbor got really interested. I mentioned I don't think I can keep him and he came to the shelter the next day and took him. Pretty soon I would see him and his son who was in a wheel chair out walking. The dog instantly bonded with the kid and would be right by the chair the whole time. So in a way me borrowing him worked out.

I like their ears. I always like, walk past and flick them or something. :D or I'll take an ear to annoy and miss will take the tail and we take turns poking him until he's really frustrated. At times im like, I don't care mister! You're here for MY enjoyment. :D but he's awesome. That photo was taken yesterday afternoon.

I always recommend shepherds to people but they just against them like they're too big and dangerous but they're not, they're nothing much more than a responsibility really. If you are responsible then your dog is too and like you say, helping out a wheel chair person or something, they absolutely love it.

cool beans UC.. id given a Samoyed away in similar fashion. I loved him a lot and he was such a cool dog, I found him when I was driving somewhere. and I seen this solid white dog, I called him and he hopped in my car.. hes sitting on the front seat and when I come to a stop sign and look the other ways he growls at me. Im like oh fuck.. I get home and I didnt know what else to do to get him out the car. I lasso him with rope and he growls at me as I tug him to get out. then he come and was ok,, he got inside the house and was the nicest he could be. sometime he would run the fence line and bark crazy like//// I was enlisted and couldnt take care of him anymore. It broke my heart and it still does he was so cool after time. my ex was cancer ridden and he would pull her office chair to the fridge, sink and toliet .. awe man that was awesome.. but she died and I had obligations . Id given him to this man in a wheeled chair. every so often I would see them and he, the dog (Thunder) was out front semi-pulling this man uphill, the dog looked like he loved it so much.. Id sometime stop and talk to him and at sometime I didnt see them anymore. :( Thunder was a cool dog..

Maintnance guy was bitching at me because the airlock blew because of high amps. Telling me i would watch the amps if i had to fix the thing. Dumb fuck dosnt even think i have to clean up after his mess so there is no reason for me to not make sure the amps are low. The problem is this cheap ass company has me doing 2 jobs
