I know 2 women that are experienced in anything salon, spa, and "uncommon" remedies. Aside from the fact that candling has been done since old Egyptian times, reading about it and its effectiveness make sense to me.

Since posting that above (no, I don't have anything I want to do but walk from here to the piano to the kitchen ) I've actually found in this very town a "salon and day spa" that offers this as one of the many services they provide. :hurray:

There's no telling how much it costs; but I'm planning on getting it done at some point. I think I'm going to try to talk Mama into getting a hot-rock massage. I think that will help her back as much as anything. Sometimes it bothers her.

About 100 years ago when I was a little child, both of my ears were infected and instead of having tubes put in there, back then they lanced the ear...

I have a slight memory of it...I was 5 and it took 4 adults to hold me down, not counting the doctor that did it.

I used to swim a good bit and have had swimmer's ear, which sounds sort of similar to what you're describing. Mine immediately started out bad after one day. Getting the shit sucked out of my ears with a vacuum that could've taken out my brains too didn't feel too great.

But anyway, I think it'd be good to avoid ear buds.

I won't use them.

But I do hear fairly well.

I bite the heads of cotton buds and use the plastic to tickle my nose until I sneeze. This is one of my favorite past times and must look awfully bizarre but honestly, I love a good sneeze. I have a manicure set with different shaped nail clippers and trimmers etc. it's got these slim pointed things for getting under nails, into ears, one is spiked and catches single hairs etc. and I use them in my nose to tickle and sneeze. >.> I might sneeze up to 24+ times a day! but I think it actually does me good to do this, blow or all the yuckies into the air so I can breathe them back in.

 

Also isn't 12 sneezes in a row an orgasm? I might not get twelve in a row but it means i have a couple of orgasms a day that I don't know about. or something.

 

protestors in Oregon are hanging from a bridge with climbing gear while others are in the water in kayaks.

They are protesting Shell from sending a oil drilling rig that must travel through to head to Alaska.

$2500 hour fines, the people hanging have food and water hoping to stop the ship so the early winter sets in so the ship can't get through tell 2016 when Obama is no longer in office.

I understand the protest to save the environment. All of the equipment these protestors are using is made from the product they are protesting.
