Family Guy is just one little short hair from being obscene. lol I'm watching it now, sort of. It should not be on during prime time...definitely not a cartoon for a kid, which I'm sure you all know.

I'm waiting to watch my 3am Law & Order show. The thing I like about Law & Order is how you never know exactly how it will turn out (unless you've already seen that epi ) and how the popo tells the truth on that show...even though that probably isn't all that realistic.

In a nearby town last week a 19 yr old was shot twice in the chest while in a Hardee's parking lot. There was supposedly a sting operation going on...excuse me, let me say (as they said) "there was a narcotics sting operation going on"...little young dude had been sitting in the parking lot. A female in the passenger seat wasn't harmed as the cop shot and killed the driver.

They found 10 grams of weed in the car. A dead kid over less than half an oz of weed. wth

Since when in the hell is weed a narcotic? :dizzy2:

Anyway, when I first heard this on the tv, I told my friend that was effing bs... the cop justified shooting the teen because he "was scared for his life...the driver was driving right for him". Yet, the cop didn't shoot through the windshield...where you'd expect someone to shoot if they are scared for their life, a car is coming at them, and their legs are broken and they can't move! Here is another bright and novel idea...how about shooting the tires or into the engine...lots of places to shoot rather than into a kid's chest.

The teen was shot through the open window of the car.

I think the kid had backed up and was slowly pulling out/away and the jackass popo shot him dead. period

Thank goodness the kid's parents have hired a lawyer from out of state since (come to find out) my thoughts about this were not mine alone. It won't bring back their boy; but, I hope they will cause a world of worry and trouble for that cop and those that are standing behind him.

"Feared for my life" is what they have to say to cover themselves. With body cameras now they are really fond of saying "stop grabbing my gun" or "stop resiting". Rarely is their gun being grabbed and they know what they are doing.
