So far my early presents have been a leopard print hot water bottle cover, it's pretty darn cute and comfy and a .50 cal bottle opener. It's pretty awesome.

 

Normal day i would be getting off work now. We have yet to even start shutting down the machines and then there is cleanup. I see a nice OT check coming but i would rather go home on time. I think i need an energy drink.

The kids are on holidays with their dad and the house has that quiet feeling. The one great thing about it is that this week I tore their rooms apart and did a massive cleaning including their rugs. Harder to do when they are home.

I think that means I can have a nap

 

took Buddy down to the park this morning. We have been taking walks there daily for a couple weeks now.
I am so proud of him. We actually sat under a tree and he laid down and relaxed..while there were four other dogs in sight within 50 feet!!!!
That is monumental for him.
I did have to plant his butt on the ground once and get him to calm down when he saw the first dog we came across, but after that he seemed to "deal" with other dogs being nearby rather well.

I know there will never be the day when he can "play" with another dog, but being able to take him out without him going absolutely bonkers in fight mode is a BIG improvement.

 

its going to be fun when I finally move my desk to the other side of the room. I can see the modem stop working now because I am going to have to unplug it. I really look forward to the day when I can get a cable modem again.

she was out back playing with Buddy throwing a ball around.
I quietly stepped out the door, gave Buddy an almost imperceptible "come here" nod and he went right under the wife's legs over to me and then wouldn't let her have the ball.......LOL

was walking the dog down a old road that is known to some locals. got to the bottom and a old guy drives up to me pretty fast..
