I jokingly said I threaten my parents with me never coming home - you jump down my throat calling me a hipocrite, without knowing anything about me or my sense of humour - so yes that is taking things literally.

Yes words are all we have, and without body language and tone of voice etc it can be difficult to correctly take the meaning of what someone is saying.

Does this feel like a discussion to you? It appears to me that you have a problem with me having an opinion that is different to yours. So if you don't get what I am saying, ask me rather than insult me - calling me a hipocrite etc.

To your last point, like I have said I can only go on text - you might mean it differently but I can only read the words you have written, so perhaps rephrase if you think I do not understand the way you mean things.

You have zero concept what the word argument means do you? That much is apparent. Calling you a hypocrite was me stating what I saw in the words you wrote, if you don't like the way they are taken, perhaps you should try rephrasing them.

As for if my problem is when people have differing opinon, no, my problem is when someone expresses an opinion that clashes with common sense or intelligence.

And at no point in time did I disagree that I take things literally, in fact, I quite clearly said I did.

Perhaps if you read the words I wrote, you would grasp this, but as long as you refuse to do that, we will just go in circles.

You say you live on 40 beautiful acres, so clearly you have some respect for nature.

My opinions are not against common sense - you saying that shows your disrespect for others beliefs. I may not agree with others opinions on things, but I will always respect them.

I am done on this thread - nothing you have said has been constructive and if anything very abrupt. I have no time to waste with someone who is this petty and disrespectful.

Notice that in all the posts regarding the killing of billions of humans, none of the people who are upset by a tree being cut down because it may have feelings, jumped up and said, hey wait, those people have feelings...

Why is that? What is it that grants a single tree more sympathy from some, then billions of people?

but to say that we are light is as ignorant and asinine as to suggest edsel = concorde because they were both made out of aluminum. (radically different kinds of aluminum that wouldn't be interchangeable for weight, temperature, and tensity\malleability\ductility reasons)
