Picture looks like it came from this clip. I was watching CBS morning show this week and they played portions of this clip from 1988.

Trump is appearing on Saturday Night Live on November 7th. I'll bet he comes out of it looking like a complete ass, and yet his poll numbers will rise again afterward.

OMG! Trump blamed Shrub Jr. for 9/11 and said he should have been impeached for lying about Iraq....and his poll numbers went up!

It may seem like fantasy, but there really are republicans who don't lick the boots of the Bush royal family. It doesn't mean they love Trump, but it's pretty clear what republicans think of Jeb. The same was true when the corrupted GOP establishment propped up McCain and later Romney to face Obama. Republican voters punished them by staying home. Nobody wanted to see Manchurian McCain with his finger on the button.

On the issue of 9/11 though, Clinton managed to keep us from being hit by paying all kinds of bribes across the middle east throughout his terms as president. Which is not such an unusual strategy these days. When GW took over one of the first things he did was shut off the bribe money. So with the bullies no longer getting their lunch money it was only a matter of time before they took action. But see, GW had a vendetta to deal with. He wanted Saddam for issues that went back to the USS Stark. So I'm quite certain that GW knew an attack was coming and had some idea of the magnitude and method.

Trump is right to give GW hell over 9/11. But Bill Clinton deserves a heaping helping of it as well. It will be interesting to see which shyster wins.

If they wanted this race any more theatrical, they'd put Jesse Ventura in the race. Then again I might actually vote for him.

I don't see Trump winning the election. If the republicans are fool enough to nominate them then they deserve the defeat they will get. This is like a temper tantrum by some on the right. It's time for the adults to take over now. But, I will say, that the climate out there is getting rather toxic. I really don't think he can get elected, but it wouldn't surprise me either. There is a major shift on the way, and it may not be pretty.

Ventura actually said a couple years ago that he'd pick Howard Stern as his running mate.

Trump is playing both sides of the fence....By saying that 9/11 was Shrub's fault and that he should have been impeached for lying about Iraq, he was fishing for independent votes, and I think he's going to get a lot of them. That was the boldest comment by anyone, and the truest. There are many that know it. And I must admit, I'm glad someone finally said it.

I don't see any of the candidates, con or lib that can unite the country. The U.S. has been divided since the Civil War, and it's going to be that way after the election. Just more of the same stupid shit.

Donald Trump is a loose cannon with his words. The stuff he says always seems to spark some controversy, for only a few days, and then everyone forgets about it and he bounces right back up on top. I don't get it. I really don't want someone who is a verbal loose cannon to speak with foreign leaders, much less lead the nation. L

Well maybe that isn't solely the job of those who represent the people but for a large part also those of the people themselves. It still rings true to me that where 2 sides are at odds with eachother 2 sides are at fault.
I wonder how useful or sensible it is to consistently portray the republican politicians and voters as 'cons'.

"Cons" is short for conservatives, like "libs" is short for liberals. I find it amusing that cons are so sensitive to it, when they've tried to make "liberal" a dirty word for thirty years.

This morning Joe Scarborough from "Morning Joe" admitted that the GOP has been lying about being fiscally responsible, and lying to their base about wanting smaller government. That's why the GOP is falling apart, and Trump is so popular.

Best joke in Playboy I just got...."When you lie to the government it's a felony, but when the government lies to you it's just politics."

Also, because "con" is the opposite of "pro" I often emphasize CONgress as the opposite of Progress.
