I coulsnt get into it, but I didnt try very hard. Not sure I even made it through the first episode

 

It's basically a soap opera in the middle ages. But with zombies and maybe dragons

I don't know. At this point I'm like 10 episodes deep. I guess I'm invested.

 

I go to the office Monday-Thursday.

Friday is kind of an on-call day. If anything major comes up, we gots to handle it, but most weeks, I get a three-day weekend. But even if I do have to work on Friday, it's just a few minutes here and there from home on my phone or laptop.

But then, two weeks ago, I put in 80 hours in one week, so...I'm all over the place

 

Prepare for your heart to be repeatedly beat to shit, for you to swear off the show in anger and hatred yet still come back for more punishment despite yourself.

It makes the heroic awesome moments of the show so much sweeter and intense.

Yeah, I've already cried once.

 

I'm doing the throwback thing with TV episodes. I watched all the iterations of CSI this way. NCIS too, though it's still in syndication. And all the Star Treks. I tried watching ER but after they made a few what I thought were racist errors I decided to watch the X Files. That's what I'm currently watching each evening for two episodes after which I watch a movie.

Why is Indian food so difficult to recreate at home? I like to think of myself as a pretty savvy cook, but I can never seem to nail most Indian dishes (although it comes out tasty, but not quite on par)--I think it is due to my lack of high quality spices.

That's how I am with seafood. I only eat fish in restaurants now. I've given up.

I can cook anything that grew on, or crawled across, the land. But the water? Forget it...

Yep. We are all here now with my sisters and my nephews and neice. The two nephews are 2 and 4yo who calls me auntie Cynny because he can't say my name yet. it's cute. He also spends a lot of time in full conversations with himself, which freak me out cause I know I can't see who he's talking to, but I'm a huge believer in that age susceptibility to talk to spirits so in this house we rent for a week, there's a wood stair case and he stands on it talking. And I ask, who you talking to? And he paused and looks and says no one.. Yeah kid you're freaking me out!

We'll have our own B&B cottage in a few days I think the day before and on the day to retire to. Then my other sisters have another rented house and they're just down the road from us. On second thoughts we should have chosen then non kid place. they're noisy and they smell. it's been like 8hrs of nonsensical squealing and carry on. Alas their father has done well and they love racing cars. Hehe.

We also got to check out the wedding venue, it's nice and green, the fountain much smaller than I thought lol but it's cool. Right now I'm just fatigued from everything and the planes and airport which was a mess. So sitting on those uncomfortable benches and seats got my back all aches and pains into my neck my legs are heavy. I'll sort that out.

This show is like crack.

I'm not too sure yet. I'll probably leak them out over time. I know a couple folks want to see and I don't want to be a let down or anything, feels like pressure though.
