i disagree with this. partly because i see black people call them locs more often than not. and partly because the hairstyle doesn't change just because it's on someone with a different race, and having a certain hairstyle doesn't automatically affiliate you with any religeous, political or philosophical movement, any individual or any culture. it's just hair.


but aside from that i agree with all that other stuff you said and with meliai.

 

maybe he talks down to you because he knows you think of him as a greasy guido guy. what is up with that shit, anyways? define "normal white guy" and tell me exactly how that differs from an italian guy.

Let me put it this way, the only reason I was aggressive is because it was a guido kid. If it was some skater kid I wouldn't have cared I would have laughed with him because he probably would have meant it in a good way.

And here's another big point, my hair has the least to do with this. He could have made fun of my shoes, pants, belt, or anything and I would have done the same thing with different insults. Unless he made fun of my Burzum sweater, then I would have branded him with an upside down cross....

Ok I seriously do not understand racism at all, I'm so confused as to how there would be a difference between your reaction to a "normal white" guy and a "guido" -- it could be because I'm of mixed race but I don't know how to think any other way, I'm so confused.

If was a black guy I would not have cared, if it were an asian person I would not have cared, if it was any person that isn't an asshole I wouldn't have cared.

But all of those guido's are the same, they're a bunch of snazzy dressing fags. I have no shame in hating guido's, I don't hate any race as a whole.

 

Of course the hair doesn't, and I don't care who of what race calls what what, but "dreadlocks" are rastafarian, it was a deragatory term (CC would have liked it) in the colonies where locks in conjunction with a type of black supremacist religion began appearing. I don't care if black people call them locs, they're as welcome to that as I am, but anyone who has dreadlocks is identifying with rastafari.

 

I guess we're turning a blind eye to the other races/religions/people that traditionally wore/wear dreadlocks.

I totally understand for hating on worthless culture, but bringing race into it devalues your justified hatred...

To clarify, I don't hate you or anything(although it's easy to pick on your for picking on others in the manner that you do) but I think you've got SOMETHING messing with you, I just can't tell what it is.... But again, smile at your enemy.... even if you're about to fuck his shit up....Or better yet, convert him to your side. For example, I hate religion, but I can't count the number of people I've introduced to drugs and atheistic/nonreligious thinking... Not all have converted, but it's seriously changed them, when otherwise I could have told them they didn't deserve my drugs and to go suck jesus off in the bathroom. But all that would have done is made SURE they never saw eye to eye with me.

You have locked hair, but the term dreadlocks does identify you with the rastafari movement. This movement took a term used against them, and started using it to describe their own use of an aincent hairstyle. You do show them sympathy and affiliation when using this term.

 

Race is just for dramatic affect because those kids are stupid and think that using terms like that is "tough". I hate when people do that shit but sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.

Obviously I would rather have not had the whole situation at all, but people like that are rude and had to start my day off bad... Although at least my friends thought this was hilarious. .... Then again they're all not that bright.

A Friday night about a year ago me and my lady and some friends were hanging having a few thousand beers. Decided to change my name to benzo and headed out to the bar. Hangin out waitin on me lady to get outta the bathroom and all of a sudden I hear, "bitch you fucked with wrong Mexican!"
hahaha just in time to catch my chick smashin her redstripe bottle on this girls face. Daaaamn this girls face messed up. Cops were called and we were gettin kicked out. Got about a block away and my girl said the chick she hit boyfriend swung at her and clipped her chin. I lost it. I realize that my lady bashed this chicks face in but still, I just fuckin lose it when I see any dude get physical with any chick. Pulled the car right back around to the bar and I see this mutha fucka standing outside. Cops just got there. My girl hopped out and this dude starts runnin up on her so my friend gets out and stops him. I grabbed the skateboard outta the back seat and 1swift hit and he was on the ground. Hit him a handfull of times. Thought he woulda been done but this freak of nature gets up. Hits mr square in the fuckin eye. Hahaha hardest I've ever been hit in my life.

Then me and my girlfriend went to jail. Haha shit sucked.

Thought the skateboard was gonna be the easy knockout blow but apparently this guy had a skull made of metal. Or he was a zombie.
