Yea I'm finding beads are really helping some of the 'larger' dreads on my head. I got some nice sized wooden ones earlier this week. Having a few on near the root seems to have shaped them nicely. Also I wrapped a few stray hairs around the area that the bead covers and they have stayed. Idk if it will help in the long run but it's helping for now
I think they look pretty cool they get a little annoying when I sleep but its worth the results to me plus I can just the dreads in a pony tail
im jealous lol when i get my new set i wont be able to put them in a pony tail lol but im stealing ur bead idea lol
do you know how to make spiral hemp necklaces? well thats how you do the one in my signature pic except instead of string in the middle you use you lock
I have the same success with beads as addicted said. I plop one on and it will help round out my funky dreading and seems to harden the dread underneath. I can leave some in for only three days and it makes a big difference.
I don't know why the ones in the front aren't like the ones in the back probably because I had really short hair in the back when I started my dreads because its not the way I sleep. when I sleep all my dreads get their fair share of wallering.
also before I started my dreads like a few months prior my hair in the back was dreading on its on own I kept having to brush 3-4 dreads out a day
