competing forums sdvertising sites that take members away from this site to a similar site..it only makes sence realluy
its just a shame that we had to lose so many good ppl in the pricess
especialy since with just a lil tweaking we could accomplish the same here..

for instanvcce google knottyboy or dreadheadhq scam see what comes up 1sy now

because she wss creatting a site designed to compete and advertising it here whichj would take members away noit just the ones banned, if it was continualy advertised here along wioth alot of insults towards skip the mods and this site in general would tend to make alot wsnt to leave for another site

its over and done with we miss them lets drop it and leave it at that

but since your on thrre tell everyone that everyone here misdsses them

wax is no good it will trap all that dirty and water you are far more likelky to get mold wax also prevents movement of hair so haors maty stick togetherr like they are glued but they dont dread easily or at all, it cab make hair look drewadish but not actualy dreasded ofcourse if u dont use aloit it can mocve alittle so u will slowlyu dread if your lucky but it still will ytap a ton of dirt.. every bit of pilition chlorine dust dead skin grime oils and yea mold will become permenatly trapped in the wax..its evil shoyt ..just try it do the wax removal see how mich better they feel

the more u get out thebetter they will feel
if im wrong you can just rewax all u want, but believe me u fell for the same lies so many others have wax is a scam

wax costs threm with a sticky guey it makes the loose hairs get glued together and it makes them freeel lil less dry
by coating them with a slippery sticky coatting
this trapps dirt any dirt that u come in contact with wiull get glued to the hair
the hair itself is stull dry and dammaged just covered with wax

if u remove it all they will dread far far better
u cahn use healthy alternatuves like aloe gel to condition and help tame feizz
but the more u leave enm alone the better

wax is a scam.. a total scam that results in most dreads being cut off or combed out
its 1 of the worse mistakes u can make

Lol Maybe I wasn't very forthcoming in my last post. I know exactly what wax does to dreads in my opinion, I just wanted to know what Meg thought it was good for. Not intending on offending anyone here though, everyone has the right to choose how to go about dreading their hair. Just wondering thats all. :)

so, im new to all of the "hairstyling" i never do anything crazy or outlandish to my hair (no hairspray, curling, straightening) and i use shampoo only every few days. (no residue) so, if i just leave my hair to grow, not combing or anything else just continuing the routine im in, ill get dreads???

Also, around here (midwest) people arent as eager to try new things. I also have a problem of parents. How can i get past this?

explain that u feel stringly that its the rightway to goi for you not just a phase your going through

hey, i have had "dreadlocks" (if thats what you call the waxy, backcombed, things that dread hq said to make) for a couple months now. Could i just leave them alone and have them end up ok? Or do i need to shave my head and start over again?

Also, before i backcombed, my hair was past my shoulders, and for about 2 years I never used straightening shampoo, or even brushed/combed it in any way, but it stayed very straight. Do you know what i should be doing? thanks

    dewax
even if it means combing em out get that gunk out
try whats been posted in the dewaxing thread its wor5ked for many but some foiund they needed orther efforts too
once u dewax..make a choice to either be patirnt and allow natural dreads to happen..or backcomb once then leave em alone
pnce theyre wwax free they will dread fine either way u choose to go
if super straight lil fingerteasing will get the ball yolling
