Dreads question?

    My bf, who had his dreads for 4 years*neglect* and just took them out with in a week or so. No cutting at all. Now he has long magical hair.

    that is encouraging about patty, I might just try that when it's time... though I am still considering the shaved head look :p

    Wouldn't your hair be really really damaged after combing them out?

    yes a pin. Picked at the hair with it, made holes pulled it apart.

    When I took my first set out I just used my hands.

    id comb mine out then cut it all off cuz i like myself with short hair and id gett a new mohawk but that wont be for a oonggg while

    Well that's odd 'cause I remember him saying this in reference to a question about how easy it was for WP to remove her dreads. I guess he must have been mistaken...

    taking those fat dreads out with a fucking pin? that's what he's doing with his time now he's not on here.

    I am so curious what my hair looks like inside my dreads, it's probably a goulash of color and all different lengths

    He had an undercut so the majority of his locks were gone already. I wasn't there when he took them out so I don't know, and since hes not on this forum any more I guess you guys wont either.

    No where did I say it was easy to take them out for whoever is jumping to conclusions. Yes a pin was used over almost 2 weeks to take them out for the last time -_-'. I'm not sure how you think a comb would just brush through 4 year locks.. hell I couldn't use a comb to take mine out after 2 months.

    No.. you should let your hair grow first but do not redread..
