Drinking Raw Milk Is A Crime

I don't know this is a crime.But all says that drinking raw milk is not good for health as it may give some digestive problems.

In today's society with the huge population numbers and areas of high density, the small farmer, such as yourself, does not have the capacity to meet the demands of the marketplace.

Sad but true, small community economics simply don't scale up to a degree
that can meet the needs of the present population numbers.

Like I said, logistics are a bitch.

 

I disagree. This is true to a certain extent, especially in huge cities, but how much food rots at a farmer's market and is eventually thrown out? The supply for local food is there, especially in places with plenty of rural land and a long growing season. It is the demand that is missing.

Even small farmers like my mom can produce enough food from her garden to sell from a roadside produce stand. If there were more of a demand for locally grown food I think there would easily be enough supply. Especially now. There has been such a backlash against large industrial farms and GMOs. More people are wanting to buy land and start their own farms.

 

The only thing stopping you from drinking raw milk is your own fear of prosecution... you all wanna stand up... but then sit the fuck back down the minute you see a back hand raised at you

As usual most of you are missing the point and just want to argue about ppl.

What I am thinking is there is far too much corporate control over all our goods and services, our daily living, taking every choice away so we have to depend on them to exist.

Every Mom and Pop Shop will be shut down and we'll all be standing in line for our goods. With them hitting our food sources and deeming them unsafe for human consumption they have paved the way to genetically alter our food/seeds and soil and our water supply so they can control us.

If it's a product of their creation they can patent it and market it and pay off the politicos to pass laws to prohibit fresh products from public use and force us to buy their products. Very simple to do, it's been happening since the dawn of commerce..It's not conspiracy if it is taking place. It becomes fact.

In my little downtown area, it's practically a ghost town and we're the county seat. When they opened a wal-mart in the next town over all the merchants lost their asses, including me. It's no conspiracy theory.

I suppose some ppl have to live it to believe it. When it touches their lives they have more respect for other's opinions and not be so quick to ridicule.

It's up to each individual to follow their own path and learn and grow from what they find on their journey.

In some cases that is true. A lot of ppl do not relish the idea of going to jail or be heavily fined and just rather do without than take the risk. Some have more to risk then others.

I'll miss my cheese and butter but I can live without it. It still pisses me off that I am forced to make that choice, my choice and to coin a phrase "To Thine Own Self Be True.

Heard this on C2C. It disgusts me to know we've let this happen by trusting.

 

So raise a cow or a goat and have all the raw milk you want, nothing illegal about that...

My state, Montana is currently working on a raw milk bill which is expected to fly through the legislature, they've even dropped some wording in the bill that would have required scary warning labels like
"Danger; contains raw milk!" lol

Everyone needs to get to work promoting legislation that would make the selling of raw milk legal in their own states

 

What are your opinions about low temperature pasteurization? I bought a glass jug from Whole Foods last month and I think it definitely tasted better than the stuff from any of the local supermarkets. It was roughly twice as expensive as a gallon of store brand milk from Wegmans.

If raw milk tastes better than that I might have to start looking around

thats weird if they dont let you drink it....up here they just make it illegal for anyone to sell it to others
