Drug Ad's on TV.

The pharmaceutical industry has a drug to treat people who use superfluous apostrophes in thread titles (superfluous apostrophe syndrome).

But correlation does not imply causation. Americans are dying younger for a variety of reasons. Like eating too much and being too sedentary. Not because of prescription drugs.

i always find it weird and kind of ridiculous when im over there and see those ads and at the end they spend 3 mins in a quick monotone telling you about the flaming diarrohea you'll get after taking the pills they just claimed were awsome a minute ago..

We get those adverts about "Adios" the Weight loss pill... Although it just reminds me of the adipose babies. :tongue:

 

I made a topic about this in another forum, America is out of control with the drug ads, I had no idea it was like that over there. All these ads for drugs I've never even heard of before, and for things I didn't even know where issues, it was just weird.

It all looks like a big scam to me, just praying on psychosomatic people.

 

It's gotten really bad in the past ten years in the U.S. with the ads. TV in other countries isn't plagued with ads promoting drugs.

There was a time in the U.S. when there were public service ads encouraging people to be physically fit. Now drugs are advertised for people who aren't fit.

they need to lay off the anti-marijuana commercials and make more meth and heroin commercials...I have never seen a mushroom commericial either..or DXM or LSD or Ecstacy..always marijuana, the least harmless of all..dosent make no sense.

 

I can see an anti-MDMA commercial.

People hugging and talking about feelings.

Then a skull falls to the ground.
