Condoms are never abortifacient, and I can't see asking for a marriage license from anyone who wants to buy them. I think it would be foolish for stores to stop selling them, but I also can't imagine condoms ever becoming a scarce commodity.
Huck, are you just against anything that, in your opinion (from the research you've done and all), is an abortifacient? I'm actually just assuming that, and that your not actually against other types of birth control like condoms and such.
I do NOT want law inforcement to have ANYTHING to do with what prescriptions I am allowed. That decision is between ME AND MY DOCTOR. Law inforcement have NO medical training, and I am sure once they get their foot in the door, they will NOT stop at birth control. My meds are NO COP'S business. NO prescription, if it is legitimate is ANY cop's business, this ludicrous idea sets a really dangerous precedient for a total Police State restricting our health.
Good points, Maggie Sugar. I'd like to add too, that rape victims go through a lot of emotional/mental/physical traumas... one of the last things they probably need is to PROVE to someone that they've been raped. Haven't they been through enough?
Actually... You know all those diet pills that say they boost your metabolism? Guess what? They are messing with the hormonal balance of your thyroid. There are gonna be a lot of people with burned out thyroids, in a few years, you watch... Oh, but the FDA can't make low hormone birth control pills, OTC... It's a crock. And if a pharmacist refused to fill my prescription and then refused to give it back to me... Oh, I'd be HOT!!! Fine, if you wanna be a jagoff and not fill it (and lose the rest of my business in the process), be that way... But don't refuse to let me take it somewhere else...
Good point Autumn, there are a lot of scary things you can buy without prescriptions that are probably a lot more dangerous than birth control. To me, those weird diet pills have always seemed a little scary!
