Thai stick was some of the most potent weed I've ever smoked.

Expensive as all hell for that time. $15.00--$20.00 for about 2--3 good joints' worth.
I remember once sitting in my friends car in a freakin snowstorm in the parking lot of a casino in Tahoe. We puffed a fattie and went in soooo very very high.
I don't remember too much of that night except I recall sitting down at a blackjack table with $20.00 and getting up a hour later with $200.00.

The best Thai stick was the kind "dipped" in opium. Holy moly that was some killer weed.

About the metric system... around here weed is still for the most part measured in the Custom or Imperial system of whatever its called, like 1/16, 1/8,1/4, 1/2 ounces all that... The occasional guy will say grams but I dont know how much a gram is... I only know the metric system in distance and temperature.

They had a whole article in my High Times a couple months back about the "10 Best Strains" but then under it they had a small box about, "5 Best Flashback Strains" Acupulco Gold and Thai Sticks were listed there...the Thai Stick looked funny...almost like it were made out of rope haha

Anyway, one of my dealers had some Acupulco Gold a couple weeks ago...it was the real stuff too...simply because it looked just like the picture and I would trust this guy with one of my nuts (More of one of my friends rather than a dealer)...and he knows the grower directly

I get so confused thinking about the cannabis measurement system, I can't get it straight.

My favorite DEA lie: marijuana is physically addictive. PURE BULLSHIT--name the chemical and show me this year's research you should be citing, asshole! People can develop mental dependency on anything.

Actually, maybe my favorite DEA lie is "These are the facts!" (collectively)

The reasoning behind the U.S. ban on industrial hemp (feral marijuana which WILL NOT get you high):

Marijuana growers will plant pot in the fields of hemp, using the hemp as a disguise.
They must think we're shit stupid.
Marijuana grown in a hemp field would be so full of seeds it would be almost worthless.
Legalizing hemp would, amoung other things, save America's Forests, eliminate the logging of old-growth trees and end the ecological disaster of clear-cutting.
Because an acre of hemp provides 3 times the amt. of paper pulp than timber, and hemp can be used for many thing that trees are now used for, inc. making sheets of plywood.
Also, hemp requires less water than timber, less herbicides and pesticides.
