Dutch Finally Outlaw Cannabis Tourism!

I had a very vivid nightmare last about this. I often have dream of being in Amsterdam and going to coffeeshops and buying some nice weed, but this time it was different. I went to Nijmegen and visited a coffeeshop, but no matter how hard I tried to buy some weed or hash I just couldn't!

First of all the girl at the counter showed me this really nice hash and I was like- I'll take 5 grams please? And she said that I had to go to this other part of the shop to buy it, so I went there and these guys were cultivating plants. I asked to be some and they said that the only place to buy it was at the counter, so I went back and this guy was there. I asked for some nice hash and he started measuring out some of this crappy weed and I was like no I said want some of that hash! He then said that he could only sell me this weed because I was british so I said fuck that and left for my regular coffeeshop to buy some super polm.

And of course, on the way there I managed to step on dog shit, whatever that means..

So when I got to the coffeeshop it had changed inside and was like a Casino. I walked around for ages trying to find the weed counter and eventually I found it, and the menu had also changed. I stood there checking out the options and this guy came along and told me he couldn't serve me and to stay away from the counter because he knew I wasn't Dutch, and I was like all come on man you know me, I've been coming here for years, you know me! And he was like yeah we know you, you're that trouble maker so fuck off, and I was like NO I'm not! etc..

Then I was going round the shop asking people to buy some for me, and this wasn't working either and so then I went out side and there were all these british outside hanging around asking people to buy some for them as well..

Then I woke, just before I managed to score some hash, which was annoying because you can get stoned in dreams I've noticed and it would have been nice.

 

Jings, imagine if that REALLY happened! and I went to Amsterdam and instead of scoring some nice ganja I ended up going from coffeeshop to coffeeshop trying to served, and every time I ended up stepping on dog shit. That would indeed be an unfortunate turd of events..

 

It would like being underage again, and getting rejected by bar after bar... I remember that feeling

 

..or it would be like going round the red light district trying to find a hooker, but every time they tell you you can't come in because your cock isn't big enough.

 

personally i found underage drinking way more fun, the legal age is 18 here though.

 

Yeah I know, I'm a Brit too... I prefer legal drinking personally. Means you can actually get into good bars...
